Seems to me that in the Classic Reign of Chaos first Night Elf mission, the Human and Orc forces would attack more often. On the other hand, in the second mission, the map seems even more infested with enemies than in Classic. At least the Archer on the between-mission screen is more practically clothed . . . sure would hate to be traveling through underbrush (including thorns) dressed the way they were in Classic . . . .

@ Yeah Warcraft have alot of racist savage races and proud for themself lol, no love for Troll, Naga here nah WOW ruined all the best characters in WC3, even though i watched and red the lore from several sources, still bad writing from Blizz Act

@@antoniudraculea4507 The Night Elves (or what would become the Night Elves, to be technical) already repelled an invasion by the Burning Legion, and they were preparing for a second attempt for a while until they sort of forgot.

Is it just me or are archers and hunts just really really bad compared to the Ancient of Lore stuff and other races T1.

They actually aren't bad if you can upgrade them. On the downside, Archers still die really easily to melee and hero attacks and spells, and Huntresses still die really easily to piercing and siege damage. But on the upside, they both give excellent DPS, and range-upgraded Archers have the longest range of any non-Siege unit.
