I've always found the recovery for alcoholics to be particularly challenging because the triggers of just seeing bars that are open, beer in every convenient store, and advertisements for alcohol on tv commercials and in store windows and magazines a constant reminder. You don't see ads for meth or heroin at your local corner store right in your face, so for those in recovery the strength it takes to resist those urges deserves some recognition and praise. Good luck to anybody struggling with addiction out there, and just remember to take it one day at a time, and that it's truly never too late to turn things around.

@@alextremblay4054 Yes, because animal abuse and neglect is as foul and abhorrent, cruel and unforgivable as kicking a child, screaming at a child, and tying a child outside on a fucking leash. I have ZERO tolerance for people who hurt innocent furbabies. It’s great that they are sober. Fantastic. But she’s still a monster and a horrible person for hurting an animal that way.
