@@DoubleBogeyBass where do you store the battery ? I’m undecided if it should go in front hatch or in a battery box behind seat. Prefer the hatch for a cleaner look but in a box behind seat is so much easier but then I lose storage space .

@@Use7rxc I currently have the battery in my black pack, and then I have added the short stack to that for gear. I have found that most of the gear I bring I rarely use, so the short stack and my tray under my seat provide enough storage options for me. I will be doing an updated kayak set up video at the beginning of the year.

Also depending on how you put your battery in the box you would still have room for storage because of how small that battery is.

@@jamesrobertsonfishing it’s very stout, and a bit heavy. But I do like it. I like the cull tags, and the double identifier. Only issue is it doesn’t fit in the yak gadget holders I have for the ketch board.

I'm a big fan of Dobyns rods, but I heard a couple people on tackle warehouse say they changed the manufacturing process making them super easy to break. Have you heard the same? All of mine are from 2017 and I love them. Makes me nervous to buy more

@@Dylan_Miller I haven’t heard that 😳. I love my Dobyns rods and will be getting more, hopefully that’s not the case. I have heard that they have a pretty decent return policy though.

@@DoubleBogeyBass There return policy is great. You just need to return it to where you bought it. I recently broke my dobyns champion. Took it to the tackle shop where I got it, and I paid 60 dollars for the new one. There other tackle shops that have stopped the return policy. Make sure you check on that before your purchase.
