The vocalist is Ian Curtis reborn, and sounds like sounds like Irish Peter Steele when he speaks. Quality sound from the band as well- look forward to hearing more!

I saw them with IDLES in Baltimore a couple of days before the DC shows. Since then I saw IDLES at 9:30 Club and Fontaines DC at U Street Music Hall. I assume you were at both of those too!

John really does like these guys. He definitely turned me onto them. Dynamite sound. Really tight. Great drummer. Plus they seem like such nice lads. And suspiciously handsome, too. I'd like to see them tour with Parquet Courts. Methinks that would be an amazing show. Good stuff right here.

This has got to be my favourite KEXP performance. My dad showed this to me almost 3 years ago and it just got me hooked. Theres something about the energy and gitteryness that they have in this performance that keeps me coming back every time. Fontaines are just awesome

The lead singer is a mix of some different singers that he resembles and the Fontaines sound is very like a mix of other things that they sound similar too. Which is nice.
