Thanks for the suggestion😊 I'll keep that in mind for future videos, though it's very minimal at the moment-mostly just butter and things like milk and cheese (that are marked down usually) if we need it and I can afford it that week.

Hey Kathie! Thanks my friend, so glad you enjoy. The veggie patch is currently being weeded and dug up in some sections-the silverbeet and kale are finished now and that garden bed is getting planted with cucumbers and beans. I have been mostly picking eggplant and capsicums this last week. I'm planning to hopefully plant some more strawberry plants too! 🍓😋 Hope you're having a good week🥰

There is a chocolate cake like this in KZbin under jenny can cook. ......My fruit cake also has no eggs. 3 Ingredients from Qld Kim McCosker's cook book.......Best tasting fruit cake ever.

If you have some plain yogurt the LSA and Mulberry would be a nice addition as well in oatmeal or muffins.

What a lovely haul! I have never had fresh mulberries, only dried ones. They are tasty dried so I am sure they are nice fresh too. I am thankfully recovered from my cold now (but it was bad, possibly I had covid for a second time). Today we went to church for 1 Advent and did some Advent decorating. Weather is strange, going from +5 to minus -15 with just a couple days in between. I hope it stabilizes soon, the not knowing what will coming is getting tedious.

Hey Elin😊 Thank you! I’m so glad you’re feeling better, it sounds like that cold was pretty rough. I can’t imagine going from +5 to -15 so quickly-that’s quite a shock to the system! I hope the weather settles down over there for you soon. The Advent decorations must be lovely, though-it’s such a cozy way to start the season. It's been very hot and humid here, in the 30's (°C) with quite a few storms. And yes, fresh ripe mulberries are delicious!😋 Have a good rest of the week. Take care💕

Hope you're all doing ok. The seeds I might put them in a flapjack type bake or in muffins with some of the berries, they looked very tasty. I think you did really well for your 10 bucks, nice to see you had more meat and a few treats. We are away tomorrow, my bones are needing the sun. I use flaxseed (linseed) as a substitute for eggs in muffins. I would try the lsa for that - 1 part lsa to 2 parts warm water, stir and let sit. If it gets goopy, it should work!

What a nice variety you got this week! The LSA could be used to make homemade energy bars. I make mine by blending in the food processor: dried figs, citrus peel, toasted almonds and a bit of dark chocolate. Vary the ingredients to what you’ve got, as long as there’s a sticky element like figs to hold it all together. The mixture can be rolled into a log shape and sliced, or formed into balls.

The LSA would be good in cereal, mixed into pancakes, in baked goods, to top yogurt, in smoothies, I have heard of people using something similar in place of breadcrumbs for neatballs, hamburgers or meatloaf. It would be great made into granola bars, granola, energy bars or bites, muffins, cookies etc..

Also those soups, you could add some extra vegetables or pair with some rice. That black bean and corn is giving me chili vibes and I'll use that to top baked potato with cheese, sour cream etc.

I know it is hot in Qld right now but there is a simple recipe for Thai carrot soup and pumpkin soup. I also like pumpkin pie and carrot cake because if I don't eat enough vegetables I like the idea of putting them in sweets. They are low sugar options of them also on youtube.
