4:30 Many of us in the West have been taught to breathe deeply into the belly as a form of relaxation, thus we naturally assume that it's the way to breathe correctly for maximum well-being. It was very enlightening to learn otherwise! I practiced the correct pit-of-throat to navel breathing for awhile after watching this video, and had an immediate burst of energy. Unfortunately it was right before bed lol. I'll continue practicing it over time, in hopes that it can help with my chronic fatigue. Thank you Sadhguru, for all you do!

When you buy vegetables, buy them to the closest farmer to you, at Km 0. Wash them, peel them, chop them and cook them (enriched with herbs and an appropriate mixture of spices). Once the food is inside your bodies It is discomposed/transformed/"re-assembled" in "new shapes" fit to "build/sustain" the "organism"/"body-brain/mind". Choose therefore "bricks/materials" of quality to introduce into you, through Food, for your cells, and also to keep on building/sustaining your bodies. For your body is a "Chemical/Quantic factory" that uses food as "raw material" to obtain the "main ingredients".

Belly breathing vs chest breathing. When I was a child, I always did the chest breathing and belly breathing seemed unnatural. Now, I read everywhere that belly breathing is the most healthy way. Also in "Swami rama - Living with the Himalayan Masters" book he said that everybody should do belly breathing all the time. Sooo....I'm stuck.

the navel is kind of below the chest. our lungs exist at the chest region, and expanding the belly allows space for air to flow. air is not like water, it fills up whereever it can...rather than from the bottom up like water. if people think of their stomach when breathing surely something is off? you still want to breath from the lungs majoritively, I guess ;) I have experienced the inertia from stomach breathing (perhaps the desired effect?) and the vitality from navel-chest breathing. When we´re enlightened we´ll be in fresh clean flowing air that pours into the body naturally :) The breathing and holding techniques- simply ways to connect with the soul and detatch from our pace of thinking/living. As an addition to yoga and exercise it can be good: 4/4 (walking/running,flow, water), 4/8/7 (perspective changer), 2/4 (running fast), 4/6 (chi gong, exhalation), etc. its a bit weird to think of breathing yet its actually the path to enlightenment :) and eating fruits

Breathe from the diaphragm - create force within the thoracic cavity - allow the diaphragm to help the heart pump the blood through the body. This way you have two synergistic, coherent systems pumping blood, oxygen an nutrients to the cells not just one, overworked one. 🙏👍💕

@@barrydeville do you have any idea what the cause of this one way breathing? is it the breath in or out that we overwork? sometimes my friend feels like she can´t access the oxygen, perhaps some anxiety/sometimes people breath out all their CO2.
