Fun fact: bubble tape also used to have a sort of controversial packaging, being that it wasn't always in its current dispenser and used to come in a tin which made it resemble a tin of chewing tobacco, putting it on par with gum cigarettes and big league chew in that manner of speaking. Also I used to take bites out of bubble tape back in the late '80s way before the internet was ever a thing in my brain. I did so simply because it would turn that roll of tape into a bunch of normal sticks of gum, end of story.

If you're looking for long-lasting gum that retains flavor, I personally recommend Trident Vibes. For me, that gum can last for an hour or two and I somehow manage to have enough to last me one or two months, Of course, I only take about one piece a day but still.

Every time I see Ollie I'm always FLOORED by how incredibly literate and well-spoken he is. He genuinely speaks with better articulation and vocabulary at 5 than my brother did at 12. Coming back to this video after a stick of Trident Spearmint lasted for over 20 minutes. I couldn't remember if it was tested. Turns out, there's a technique to savoring the flavor just like there is with bubble blowing. If you wanna make your flavor last a while longer, like double or more the amount of time seen here, focus on just relaxing when you chew, don't over chew, and keep your gum in your mouth, the denser your gum is in your mouth, like in a little ball, the less surface area it has for the flavor to be dissolved, leading to a longer lasting experience, with a more mild flavor, taking it slower will both dull some of those intense spearmint flavors as well extend the lifespan of your gum, while you can actually use similar technique to bubble blowing: Flatten out and spread the gum on the inside of your mouth, for a more intense chew and to really wring out all the flavor and life from each piece as the flavor starts to dull. Thicker = Longer less intense chew, that's not for blowing bubbles. Thinner = Shorter more intense chew perfect for bubble blowing. In hindsight, the one critique I have with this experiment is that it was done in one sitting, with no consistent chewing technique decided on beforehand. Shorter times could've just been due to more bubble blowing rather than actual thorough testing. Or since a lot of the longest chews went to spearmint flavors and there was no standardization between flavors, mint might just last longer overall.
