Love how not pretentious you are, cooking based on what is good at the store. Something we all have to contend with constantly. Thanks so much, will be making for sure!

I love the fall when all the recipes using parsnip start appearing. I used parsnip in my stew yesterday.

Loved this vid but would have been so cool to see inside the pan. The cast iron looks nice but I want to see what's happening with the food and heat with an overhead cam. Ty for the recipe!

This looks great! I've missed the Cesar/Nea videos.

I lived in Chicago for 25 years. Now almost 25 in Texas and Chicago Italian beef is one of the things I miss most. I've come up with my own version which is eye of round sous vide. The biggest obsticle is not having a meat slicer.

Our family's recipe calls for putting the meat into the freezer for a couple hours before slicing. Maybe that would make it easier to slice thinly? Gotta love seeing Cesar need to add more jus-of course we dip, why do you ask?

@elizabethscharnell9787 thanks, that's exactly what I do but it's still not shaved like a deli slicer.

Great stuff, but a pot camera from top down would really be nice!

Nicely done, Cesar....living in Chicago (as I do) it is easy to take the "Beef" for granted sometimes....but, man-oh-man, it is good, right?! Brooklyn-version-in-the-house!
