Walkers shortbread do a gingerbread version and it’s pretty damn good. Still all-butter, natural ingredients, including ground ginger.

It's not really a scam. It's just that the flavour it's claimed to be isn't dominant. A scam would be you open the packet and it's a cardboard tube and you get no biscuits.

This is the most disgusting biscuit I’ve ever tried. 90p intro offer. There is NOTHING ginger about them. It’s a cinnamon stick you’d burn after yer cats done a shit in the litter tray. Revolting. And yes mine were all smashed too.
