Important life update: As if prompted by this video, a grocery store in town SUDDENLY started carrying black beans!! I would like to formally apologize for including that on the list (and thank whoever decided the Spanish section of the International Food Aisle needed an addition). 🌯🌮

I don't know for the south of France but i live in the north of France and you can have a chance to find black beans and almond butter in the "bio" supermarkets also if we don't have good coffee it's because for us coffee is an expresso

Hi Nicolette! I would give the French peanut butter another chance. I also started with eating the American-style one as a kid, but then I tried the all-peanuts, no sugar added, separated one and found it actually works better in PB&J. You just need to mix it vigorously when you open the jar and it will reach a creamy, spreadable consistency. Hope this helps!

I'll try this next time a PB&J craving hits me, thanks :)

American coffee? Seriously? This brew wouldn't pass for coffee in France, Spain, Greece, Austria and _certainly_ not in Italy. By the way: Mexico is a few thousand kilometers away from Europe. It should be clear that there is more authentic Mexican food in California. Just as there is no authentic French, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Belgian, Swedish, Polish or Croatian food in California (in fact, in the whole of the USA).

9 months late, for the coffee, there is a great Coffee Shop in south of Orleans, precisly located in Saint-Pryvé Saint-Mesmin, called Mio Caffe

Nicolette eats Kale, so I don't have to. I'd miss oat milk for sure... and you're right, I personally can't go more than a week without Mexican food

Your favorite supermarket chain belongs to the Aldi group, a German store chain present in France, Aldi not really known for the good taste of these products, at least in France.

You can make pretty good tacos yourself with some tortillas, ground beef and spices
