Those McDonald's movies / episodes are one of the deepest core memories i have as a child! 10:15 on the Cholera theory, Cholera bacteria is communicated by touch as well being drunk; one core prevention method in countries who still get it is education on hand washing. So you’re right that Grimace showing-off his cup could potential have transmitted the bacteria to others. Then if others didn’t wash their hands between viewing it and eating/drinking, that would be all that’s needed to cause and outbreak.
