Such vision from the greatest automotive talent in our history! Boyd was good, but Chip show's us how to be respectful, and honor those that have his life so enjoying and fruitful. God Bless the Folks, Wife, Sons, Daughters, and other special relatives and friends for their help to provide the strength Chip needed to succeed and live the dream of many of us!

Chip, When I visited with you at the shop last June I was so impressed with the details you and the team showed me. The Jag, your '32, the '57, your personal project the C/28 and the others left an indelable impression in my mind for first class craftsmen at work, especially you.

Have been following this great man and his Dad for about 20 years. No one but Chip Foose does this level of work and his work is the highest level there is.. Used to love watching him and his Dad work together a long time ago.. I saw this truck at SEMA last week - just beautifully done !! Thank you, Chip Foose and Family for all the sacrifices you made for so many ! We are all so grateful ! I still have a black with white letters Foose T-shirt from probably 10+ years ago I have never worn.. :) I went to your shop a few years ago; of course you were gone, and I totally understand why.. You would never get anything done if you had all of us in your shop asking you questions.. You had an old Blazer in there that you were making for a movie star.. Hint - his first name is Keith.. :) Thanks again, mi Hermano' !!!!!

Chip, Been a big fan of yours for quite a few years. I recently posted on Jay Lenos channel that I've never seen any of your projects on there, I've received alot of responses to my post that your work is not appropriated, personally I think your work is one of the best especially being a role model to the younger generation and they don't hand out the ridler's award to just anybody. So glad that you are on KZbin now since I only have local channels on my TV. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing you here.

I've got a 1969 Chevy Nova SS...I've had this car for 45 years....had a burglary at my shop ...they stole the engine..tranny...and numerous parts...I had to stop working a few years back because of a disability...plans were when I retired to get it going...with the disability it put me way behind on bills...my daughters wrote Chip a few times to c if he could help me out...all the letters they submitted they never got a response...they just thought someone owning a muscle car that long would b an excellent story for overhauling....I am eventually gonna pass the car down to my grandson...but keep up the excellent work Chip...ur a real credit to custom car industry....👍👍👍👍

Perfect timing as I work with my 67 C10 to fix past transgressions by PO's. The standard rear cab window was small and the larger was an option I think. Mine came messed up with camper shell window. So cut a large window sheet metal from bone yard donor, separated the welds, cleaned, sprayed CRC cold galvanizing on inside, then welding in using the off-set flange method. WAY Hard job for old guy (Me), but used 30+ vise grips, measured 3 times, welded once. Also, did anyone notice the side marker lights and are those after market that someone added on? I think 68 was the first year for side markers and had a bar like bezel for trim. Looking forward to the next video.

Nice to see you Chip. I have to say you have been missed due to no Seattle roadster show. I tried to meet you at the Portland roadster show, but was shunned right before I got to meet you. I still like your work and enjoy watching. Look forward to seeing the C28 come to life. I am currently trying to build a 50's era tribute 1929 Ford Model A closed cab pickup. I want to honor some of my fallen hot rod hero's George Barris, Bill Hines, Norm Grabowski, Ed Roth along with the (still with us) Gene Winfield and of course you. Would love your help and expertise in the build. I tried to get your help through all the years of Overhaulin, but that never panned out as well. Lets fight to get the Seattle Roadster show back to the Pacific Northwest. I am in to help?

My first vehicle was a 67 c10. 235 6 banger. 3 speed on the column. Man I loved that truck. My senior year. While having lunch I see two men in the school parking lot looking at my truck! I walked out and asked what the heck was going on. Well my dad pulled up at the same time and explained he had to sell my truck to pay bills. 😩😩. That’s the way it was back then. Family first at all cost. It broke my dad’s heart probly more than it did mine. And I knew that. Because he knew how long I worked to save up the 800 bucks I bought the truck for. Later on he helped me find another vehicle. But nothing ever measured up to the old 67. 😎👍

I remember visiting Boyd's shop in the "90s on a businees trip. Boughta couple of T shirts and asked Boyd's wife if I could get him to autograph. Her response was that Boyd was out but "Chip could sign them. Not knowing who "Chip" was, I begged off and told her I would try and stop by the next day. I did and Boyd was in. She took the shirts in the back I could hear Boyd cursing at the request, I still regret not having "Chip" sign the shirts and the possiblity of meeting him.

This will be cool. Hope it’s white with Marina Blue interior on top of Chip’s subtle touch. The truck appears to be a 68 not a 67 based on the side market lights. That’s an easy fix though. Also, I like the big window compared to the coffin cab small window so it’s a better choice anyway.

Well Chip I beg to differ with you, in 1967 there were 602 Z/28 Camaros produced so there were more than 500 302s out there. I'm pretty sure that there were even more engines produced and possibly sitting in a barn or garage. As for the "Houndstooth" interior I don't believe that was ever an option in '67. But all in all cool truck, can't wait to see more.

have you seen my "backyard 67 c10 build" youtube video? i did one 2 or 3 years ago with small mirrors & z28 motor and manual floor shift. ive never seen a 67 like yours with side marker signal lights. here in canada 67 camaro and c10 didnt have side markers. its a one-year only with a small back window and no side markers. 1968 was the first year of side markers for legal reasons. here in canada thats what a 68 looks like. big back window and side lights. if you watch my 67 backyard c10 build video you can see what a one-year-only 67 looks like. no side lights, small back window.

I have a 1974 Ford Pinto, it came factory with remote adjustable mirrors and all the bright trim around the windows, fenders and rockers and even has a stitched vynl interior. Orange and black. I think it would be an awesome build with the new Mustang 2.3 liter turbo 4 along with some suspension mods and some clean up of the clunky bumpers and of course modern rims and tires. Back in the 80's and 90's turbo Pinto's were the terror of the "import" street racing scene as well as at the track. I'm not trying to sell it, I don't have anywhere to work on it and I really really don't want to junk it because I've got history racing it at Carlsebad and at Brotherhood raceway. I need to find a new home for it... it's in SOCAL OC, I'm in Utah. Sorry this was the only venue I could find to get in touch with Mr. Foose.

your idea was to "find a C10 pickup and build it as if the factory had a sport truck package back in 1967" .... in '67 Chevrolet trucks had three levels. plain jane (no cig. lighter, arm rests or passenger sun visor, Custom and CST (Custom Sport Truck) that meant stainless moldings, door badges that said CST in place of custom, steering wheel cap, and a mirror upgrade as well as some pretty cool bucket seats.
