Bare ved at de her highlights kan man se hvor god en spiller han var, men doven ja det lyder han til at være, røv ærgeligt men hvis jeg skal stole på en fodboldhjerne, så er der ikke mange der slår iniesta. People dont realise that the recent boom of top quality attacking midfielders that that World cup winning Spanish team had, it was almost single handedly influenced by Laudrup. I was 10 at the time and my team had just concluded our last training of the season, as kind of a "have a nice summer"-thing, right before the annual summer party for the whole club. When we got up to the clubhouse where we'd normally have french fries and a coke, we were treated to the majority of the '92 national squad (believe it was 9 past, and at that time current Brøndby players). We got to take penalty shots at Schmeichel and (can't remember who) dribbled around and made us realise how far we still had to go, if we wanted to become pro :'D Those guys were so frickin' awesome and down to earth.

I love what you're doing educating fans on the history of the game because we all know there are some fans with "opinions" in desperate need of a lesson Also I know there's a documentary and all but since u did one for eden hazard , might u also consider a rise and fall vid for the El Nino, Fernando Torres🇪🇸?

Best scandinavian player ever imo. As a kid in Denmark in the mid 80s Michael Laudrup and Preben Elkjær were my idols as a kid and made me fall in love with the sport.

Criminally underrated. Anything before the 80's is before my time so I can't objectively rate players before that era. But since I've been watching football, no one, and I mean *no one* I've ever watched had Laudrup's vision and passing abilities. The man played grandmaster chess on the football pitch. Top 5 of all time for me, easily.
@idiot34123 жыл бұрын
top 5 is too high. Laudrop was amazing, but there's no way he's better then Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Maradonna, or Zidane.
@droo3010 Жыл бұрын
@@idiot3412you are comparing him with goal scorers . Laudrup was a better playmaker than any of those you just mentioned. His vision was also better than any of those you mentioned. Laudrup a dribbling was better than Messi’s and his passing aswell.

As a kid I had heard about him but the first time I saw him play was at France 98. Denmark tore my country Nigeria to shreds.

Laudrup was a football poet. The stuff he could do with a ball is likened to what Rembrandt could do with a paint brush

watching football since the 90´s, and Laudrup is still one of the best players i have seen. He inspired so many footballers, including guardiola, xavi, iniesta,... (to name some laureated ones), David Silva,...

It’s hard to say with the Denmark team, yes an amazing player but if he played, the games would’ve been different and they might bot necessarily have won it. Totally hypothetical of course, sometimes the stars align and Denmark winning that tournament is still an unbelievable achievement

Thanks you so much for a very serious video. So serious that we did not get to see him play :-) (we can always do that in one of the mainstream videos) I'm Danish so I'm biased. But he was a magician. One of the best players ever.

Laudrup was a beast and a top-quality player. Also, he was one of the best in an era packed with football stars and amazing players difficult to repeat. Football in the late 80s to the early 00s was wonderful.

Sad that Barcelona do not give him greater respect in their Hall of Fame. A disrespect to him for the championships he played a big role in. Michael Laudrup and Preben Elkjær were Denmark's toxic frontrunners. Those of us who can remember fondly remember the big match against Sovjetun in Copenhagen in 1985. 4-2 to Denmark. Probably the best match played on Danish soil ever.

The reason Michael Laudrup dont get the respect from Barca as he went to Real Madrid and won la liga with them, it still hurt on Barca that day today. I remember first time el. classico with Laudrup playing for Real Madrid, in Barcelona, there best player had changed team and had now become a judas, in there eyes, people went crazy.

It’s a fine line between being a hero and a villain, one save or one mistake could break a game. Love your content bro, keep it up and I’m sure your sub count will continue to grow.
