I played in these for the first time a day ago. I was a bit worried about stability watching reviews but these kicks really aren’t that bad. Comfy as hell and they’re great for dunking, or maybe it’s just me.

You gotta do an updated video of the latter colorways of the fusion. Apparently they made some tweaks to address lateral stability. Also they introduced a few fusion models with traditional lacing system.

I mean I keep looking at the shoes since so many nba players were wearing them- my thoughts are they couldn’t be that bad.

I’ve been playing in these for 2 months and i actually like them and one of my favourites I like the dense feeling as I’m not a high flyer I have tweaked my ankle once but I think that was my footwork not the shoe

I wear these casually. In terms of the weight it is a little weird at first bit you get use to it. I wear half a size up. The issue with this shoe is no outrigger and the fact it is not the Clyde all pro. The clyde all pro set the bar so high for many people anything else after that would be immediately compared to that.

Great review Dr Zach. I got these shoes at launch and experienced the instability to the point of a sprain. Haven’t really trusted the shoe after that. I would love to hear your take on lunarlon like in the later model Kobes. My play style is on the fast and explosive side with lateral shifts but I’m also 36, currently rehabbing a L ankle dislocation and a grade 2 R ankle sprain that happened 3 weeks after. I’m in the military so I still have to work (Combat Medic). And I’m a retired MMA pro fighter so my body seems cashing checks at this point lol.

As usual a great review with a lot to take into consideration. Science over the aesthetics as it should be with regards to performance footwear. I think it's a pass on these. I can see my foot rolling around and skidding off the foot bed during laterals with these.

@@FootDoctorZach I agree that leather would probably be heavier. It would probably be more expensive then plastic, nylon and polyester mesh etc. The softness would depend on the construction. Some mesh and plastic shoes break in very quickly, whereas quality leather that’s not too thin takes a while. Have you done a dremel test on leather? Thanks and keep up the good work.

I move a lot laterally and with power I play wing and forward but I didn't have an issue with the less lace hole si found it great for my high arch and didn't have any slips great shoes if u are below like 180lbs

Looks like the nitro foam is actually the slim sliver of white foam under the heel.. The red looks like regular EVA
