I saw another clip on youtube featuring Ticha Penicheiro who previously held the record for assists in a rookie year. Right after Caitlin broke her record, Penicheiro congratulated Clark, because it shows that the women's game has improved and advanced over the years. I can't find much about Ms Swoopes rookie season except it was very uneventful, stat wise. She only played in 9 games averaged 7 points,1.7 rebs and 0.8 assts in 14 mins. She definitely should have transistioned better and faster.. She played 12 seasons and had one year in which she averaged 20.7 points per game 3.8 assts and 6.3 boards compared to Caintlins current 18.9, 8.3 and 5.9 averages. None of Sheryl's other 11 seasons came close. Her career average was 15, 3.2 and 4.9. Luckily Caitlin wasn't around when she won all those mvps. Sorry, didn't mean to be so Gabby, but Cheryl Swoopes ticks me off. BTW I'm writing a new song: "Hang Yo Self Swoopie"

Don't try and belittle what CC has done, she has had an amazing year and barring injury will probably get a lot better. It is rather funny though that you are calling CC "your great white hope" and listing 7 records listed at 0 for CC, when the season is not over yet and other than NCAA champion and all star MVP, those awards have not been given out.
