killin it homie! I personally love FP "Gamechangers" insoles but depends on the boot and set up of liners. The originals are about 7mm and the "LOW" version is about 5mm. They take some break in time, 3 or 4 big sessions until they mould to your feet and loosen up. I've used them in all my past set ups except SL and right now I'm just using my Intuition's with the shock absorber that they come with.. but if I didn't those, FP all day sore lower back and knees if I don't use something decent, but that's just me

I see similar comments regarding FP insoles & it's usually people that picked a random FP insole that you would put in your Nike like the King foam but what you'd want for skates are the FP Gamechanger. They come in either a 3 or 5mm, depends on your liner/skate combo. If you're flat footed then FP Gamechanger low profile.

I have some 5mm's in my Beers under the liner and in the shoes I use with my Xsjados. It's good but it feels tight first half ish hour or so. Also yeah man Oak City rules I always check there first and recommend them first.

I heat molded my insoles first and put them in my daily use shoes for a few days before putting in my skates. It helped me out a good bit. The struggle of 35 year and up club is real.

I got the FP Game Changer ones, indeed they feel a little hard at first but you suppose to heat mold them first to fit your feet or spend more sessions, they are getting better in time, excellent for absorbing shocks and vibration while normally cruising around. I’m using my insoles underneath the liner like a shock absorber and remove the original insole from the liner, for sizing I advise you to measure inside of your shell length otherwise it will wiggle around underneath the liner. One other thing is, most people say you can not use things like that with a raised heel boot like an m12 which is not true, it raises your feet all the way front and back, not just the heel area, therefore you don’t feel a lot of forward lean, just normal.

I had a very similar experience with the FP insoles. I never even got to see if they had any shock absorption advantages because they were so uncomfortable right away. I think they are a waste of money. I think the green superfeet are the real deal, but I’ve been too cheap to buy them 😅

Ive seen a lot of people having problems with the size M 909 boots, including me, they are too big. I think the stock insole is too thin, making my foot float inside the boot and I even feel my knees suffering after every session. The best i did was to change the insole for something thicker just like the 5mm footprint insoles and now i feel my skates more responsive and comfortly to ride. maybe your feet is on the bigger side of that medium boot so the 5mm insoles are too much for you, maybe. btw, great videos mate, keep sharing things :)

A lot of the footprint foot souls are heat moldable you should check to see if yours are.

I got the game changer ones recently and had the same experience initially. They actually go nice and squishy when heated up with my foot but then harden. These ones mold to your feet and the arch part seems to stay hard (once molded) I guess to provide support, that's the only part I still find I'm getting used to.

You won’t notice it immediately but rather the next day when your joints don’t hurt as much as they normally would after a session.

Yeah man you need the game changers the one's you heat mold to your foot. I have 3 different kinds of FP insoles and the game changers are the ones that actually make a difference. They are definitely worth the money!!!

Footbeds/insoles are game changers. Vans ultra cush and nike sb work pretty good.

Same experience. Idk why but all the high end footbeds feel terrible to me, like I’m standing on cardboard. I always go back to a footbed from a stock liner.

You need time for the sole to re-adjust. Our body is programmed for efficiency, regardless correct or wrong posture. It wants the ‘comfort’ posture it is used to even if that posture is harmful to it. Hence the discomfort, going both ways, could be 1) Readjusting and realigning to the correct posture or 2) further aggravating the wrong. Unfortunately, it takes time to adjust, you just need to try science behind the tech. FP works well for me on the 1st wear reducing the stress on my knees.

I've been thinking about doing this! My only issue is that I don't know what size to get... I've been considering just measuring the Them insoles and then just asking Footprint what size is the closest
