John in Uddingston calls in to discuss the fate of oldco Rangers' prize money for the season 2011-2012, claiming that it should have gone to creditors rather than be distributed amongst the other SPL clubs; which, legally speaking (and ignoring any sporting advantage Rangers may have gained by not paying their tax bill), is a fair point. By the sounds of his call though he's probably as - if-not more - irked that rivals Celtic recieved a fair chunk of it...
However, regardless of the caller's motives, the discussion escalates into a debate between Cosgrove and Traynor about (oldco) Rangers' debt and EBTs. Traynor STILL defends David Murray, and blames Craig Whyte for the whole downfall. The very eloquent Stuart Cosgrove hands him his arse on a plate explaining that Rangers' tax avoidance and EBT scheme during David Murray and Craig Whyte's era was responsible for their crippling debts.
Enjoy!
