I'm still surprised we've never gotten a feat overhaul for a vast majority of characters. Since feats are very important in 4v4s.

It would be a really easy way to change the viability of a lot of heroes too. You buff one feat and all of a sudden 10 heroes get buffed by association, you switch another hero's feats out and he skyrockets up the tierlist without a single movelisy tweak, etc.

I feel like warden didn’t necessarily NEED it either, the pressure he has is insane. I understand why but don’t agree with it. I’ve gotten better at defeating characters like Nobushi and Beserker but Warden is one that I still have trouble defeating even in a team fight.

@@D44RK_Iced_Yogssounds like a skill issue. Warden definitely needed some buffs but the trajectories are not the main issues, however it is helpful. It is really painful to see warden’s hitbox to just glide over an opponent and get peeled. His defense in teamfights is still trash especially after the dodge changes (no guard after dodge), and he only gets a dodge bash which barely gets i frames like dodge lights or heavies from other heroes.

I think he’s fine now and I do have an easier time fighting him than I think I do but he’s still a mess imo. He needs buffs just not something dumb like the bigger than sword hitbox. That’s just my opinion though, I can see why they did it and I’m sure I’ll get used to it. I’d like for his side bash to have more s as it should be somewhat better. I think side bashes really need to be standardized as well for some hero’s.

I still think Nuxias tier 2 and 4 should just switch places and get mild adjustments, her tier 4 is pretty much just WMs tier 1 but without having to hit somebody and I never really liked Nuxias T4 options. Meanwhile the spikes (as you state yourself) are broken for a T2, they can keep minion lane clean for a short time or turn teamfights into a minefield.

My thought is that they should straight up erase that trash feat from the game. Never played nuxia before warmommy, but the feat even without any comparing is trash tier. I don't really remember does it damage allies from getting close, but even if it does the feat is absolutely worthless as a T4. T4's are meant to grant you a kill if you get lucky, or to get powerful for a slight amount of time (reduced armor AOE or unblockables are great examples). And Nuxia's one is...Well... Let's say that the opponent won't be babysat for another 15 seconds. In FH TTK (time to kill) is much much longer than 15 secs. Even if T4 were a T2 it'll be still somewhere lower than mid tier, as T2 usually grants you something cool and passive. Compared to heal on block or heal behind allguard the feat will be even so a little weak.. I'd say to just give her the unblockables feat. You do fall for traps if you try to parry them, and UB 400ms chain lights would be hellishly powerful for the average player, just as T4's are meant to be. And caltrops for a T4 is not a bad thought. Though they are OP as a T2, and as a T4 would require some buffs.

And if you stand in caltrops there is plenty of ways making you take guaranteed damage (countering GB, parrying, enhance attacks)

Personally, instead of the chain speed increase on hito's heavies, I'd much more prefer to see the hitstun increased. you may need to slightly slow down the lvl 1 kick to fix not being able to dodge it, however it'd make her gank potential much more viable in a coordinated 2v1

I want a warden undodgeable grab were he just grabs the goober and throws them back in-front. i think they only shortened hito's chain links on hit, doesnt seem like its shorter on block/whiff also faster heavies means hito gets 2 heavies from an oos parry and an oos forward throw or, if youre ganking, you can do heavy and charged sweep into heavy, for a longer stun

I'd say that hito is in a really good spot now. Sweep doesn't really need to be changed considering it's mainly a pulse check tool combined with a good ganking tool.

I doubt that devs knew what direction character roles will play in future and how it will be tied to their weapon. It definitely had initial significance and role play aspect to character in earlier days, but now since the game is taking different approach, it seems unlikely that those changes are revolved around initial character direction and their role in 4s

I hope nuxia does get more changes. Her damage is still really high and her frame advantage is all over the place. No frame advantage on side heavy finisher. Her heavy after heavy trap will trade with an opponent's light. And her zone trap gives so much frame advantage that she actually can gb you before any buffered button input.

Nuxia needs something like Shinobi. Top heavy finisher is unblockable and the side finishers are undodgeable. Makes her so much more playable since people can't just dodge/dodge attack her traps in fear of being caught by the undodgeable. As for the top it'll serve as great bait for a trap since it puts much more pressure on the opponent to either dodge or try parrying the unblockable

Nuxia's traps are just reactable, the only negligible change is 32dmg on zone and trap animation timings. We can't just blindly claim unreactability on nuxia's traps because there are still so many options to counter them. The feedback to implement the changes were from from the majority playerbase that has little to no involvement with the character. We will never see a proper rework for Nuxia until the devs actually listen to the actual Nuxia players in the game. The devs first course of action was to blindly feed into the false claims of the playerbase that couldn't give two sh*ts. The caltrops are not even close to being the best feat in the game. The AOE of the feat is not even large enough and the dps is nothing in comparison to fire flask or nailbomb which are instantaneously set to activate dps on opponents while for caltrops you have the opportunity to move out of them. And her damage value should not be having you shaking in your boots, Dom 1v1s are a rarity and her deadly duet is only active in those scenarios. Elimination is the best game mode for Nuxia for her deadly duet. Wanting a nerf on her only decent feat for 4v4s (Infection not included, ty warmonger for nerfing that and making it useless) without even mentioning a feat overhaul rework? That's a little undiscerning.

As a 8 rep Nuxia martyr, - I like the changes. But just as stated in the video, they are not really in the branch that matters or is significant enough for hero to be picked atleast once every 45 games. Yeah, cool, unreactable traps. It's either that I'm a total noob, or just FH stuff, but my enemies NEVER counter traps (not with actual brain thinking I mean, sometimes they just do be monke use dodge attack). And if you use them rare enough, they are already not reactable. And now, we receive unreactable + faster. What do we get? Unreactable still! The truth is, that to an average player (like myself), they are already pretty much avoidable by read, not by reaction. It might be possible that top players can react to them, but the game is not meant to be balanced just for tops. They already demolished one game by applying such logic (yeah, I think 8 of my friends left R6:S because of uncontrollable recoil and operators being dumped into trash tier just because of overpick). They already made such mistake! And they keep on doing it for the other game. It's really nice to have completely unreactable attacks in the game (No), but please get some properties for these attacks as well. Hyperarmor for chain heavies? Maybe undodgeable heavy finisher? No, we here at ubi just make stuff even faster. So that my enemy aren't fast enough to spam dodge attacks I guess. Just parrying works completely fine for me. But may I remind you that there are heroes in this game who ARE NOT EVEN REQUIRED TO PARRY IN ORDER TO PUNISH DODGE ATTACKS? Yeah yeah, all these recovery cancel heroes adding BP ontop as well. And that is legit circus stuff, as some heroes are required to use brain cells, all the while others have an option select or punish for pretty much anything the opponent does (like warmonger has I-frames while still having time to feint her HEAVY ub dodge attack).
