@@Blurgamer17 I know this is a hot take for some reason on this channel but i don't think that external resources is any excuse for Devs not to include more advanced tutorials and ingame mechanics to help. Its like saying apprenticeships are superfluous cause trained workers exist or schools cause children can just ask adults. In addition, many games in somewhat comparable genres actually manage to have a training/experimentation mode with all relevant details like frame data, vulnurabilities, effects etc. Just load up a game like MK11 who not only got a bigger cast but many of them larger movesets than in FH and go through the tutorial to see whats missing in For Honor.

@Lobo The Main Man the devs would have thought of that if they actually played the game in the first place. Because they don't do that, they're forced to take the perspective of other people who do play the game. Unfortunately, the platform of people they have chosen to see things from is reddit, and they've taken this game downhill ever since. Although I will say: Don't blame reddit outright for having the atrocious ideas they typically have, blame the devs for even entertaining such dumb ideas, thinking it's going to improve this game. Just look at the LB Testing Grounds.

Big fan of the Jorm QoL change. This was one of my biggest complaint with the hero's new kit. Excited to see Ubisoft exploring more bash timing options [with Warden] and considering that's also in the TG we may be seeing more viable pressure from heroes with a bash soonTM.

Is Nuxia viable? I know she does a ton of damage with the trap but when a lot of people that i play light spam, and i cant block correctly all the time, i dont even get to press heavy to even try to trap. I find it a little frusterating that i only can try to dodge or try to reflect lights to survive

The changes this season look good for beginners mostly. They spent a LOT of time talking about the tutorial revamp (which isn't bad). Hero changes are ok it wasn't anything mindblowing, especially Aramusha. Warmonger skin will please those who want it. LB changes aren't a huge deal to me, but I do agree with some of the opinions of actual LB players on how the devs kinda missed big things LB was lacking while nerfing him in a lot of categories. The theme of this season is lovely. I just wish we kept the map variant after the season ends... overall meh but not necessarily upset.

Nuxia : third heavy ability to grab should be ADDED to defect. It would give her a control to counter hyper armor. Now, she KEEPS defect into light (for mix ups and combos) but she also has a deflect into heavy control, same directions as 3rd heavies.

Mid clear with Jorm (as well as Kyoshin) isn't a problem stemming from players' lack of knowledge. Requiring lock-on for the only viable minion clear removes the ability to control attack/movement direction the moment an enemy is remotely close to you (as lock-on then forcefully changes to your opponent, thus changing direction of attacks). This change makes sense and I hope it is considered for application to other heroes who experience this same problem.

@Norgoz I get what you mean, but every hero I use to minion clear, I lock on first, so I'm used to it I guess. I position myself in front of their minions while facing them to kill 2 birds w one stone. And if noones there, i try to stay alert of whos where. I feel more control locking on to clear than otherwise

I mean this patch has some decent stuff and the testing grounds are nice but i cant help but feel a bit dissapointed. Im not looking for giant changes but like a little more for nux wouldve been nice or a fix to cents punch to make it feel a little better taking care of the remaining zone attacks stamina cost and some adjustment to medjay damage wouldve all been nice to see, hopefully next patch is a bit bigger and more exciting but this i suppose will do fine for now

People will adapt to the trap changes guaranteed. Until traps don't just depend on guard because the game has become so focused on pure offense and properly be used as an opener tool given that she has no neutral bash (which im sure nobody wants including myself), it should remain 22dmg. We need a feat overall change in terms of her deadly duet not being so dependent on 1v1s unless they add a better 1st feat, caltrops being nerfed I'm on board with, they could increase dps timing for it. Slip through is pretty much useless and outdated for Nuxia given that she has no dodge cancels, even on whiffed traps. And her Infection either needs to be replaced with something else or expanded.

The way they said it it sounded more like them saying "hey, this is better, just flatly, so let's just ship this out now and we'll keep an eye on it" the only reason she's probably not in the tg is the mix of lb and especially the bash changes make the testing grounds potentially a bit bloated as is. She'll be back but unlike lb her changes weren't an absolute monstrosity.

If yall hadn't been paying attention they said it's a step by step process they wanna do nuxia right they don't wanna be lazy and give her unblockables and then there thats a rework they wanted to see if her traps worked if they worked by having em unreactable if they worked then they can push that change to live (which they did for next week's patch) and nuxia will be on her way for a proper rework if they didn't work then they would've had to try something else. Luckily tho the changes worked and her traps were a little more better so nuxia hopefully will be in the TG very soon.

She isn't dead, I would like to see them fix her to not be a absolute damage monster. Namely lower base heavy damage and make her kick pokes not bleed/kick not wallsplating for a free heavy. And then give her dodge heavy a heavy parry punish again with maybe a less janky hitbox (very wide but very close to her model.) These aren't huge and are mostly nerfs but then she'd at least be in a state where you can buff parts of her without breaking her elsewhere.

If you're talking about feinting it in order to parry a light, well that's ridiculous because only a small percentage of the population can pull that off. @@sixtyninemangler lvl 1 cant be punished by gb off cents neutral heavy hitstun (block or nor) lvl 3 is not bad, but can be double dodged off light hitstun. also comparing it to something like hitos lvl 1 bash, which CAN BE reacted to assuming you dont delay it, in which case i think it can be interrupted? not sure, alao rewards a gb if you dodge it. also cent can get a lvl 1 punch off heavy parry, that deals stamina damage and the punish i think goes from 12 to 14. so in order to punish cents lvl 1 punch if you blocked or got hit by the neutral charged heavy, you need to to dodge attack, all dodge attacks are lights now and dodge bashes are 600ms and have insane guardbreak vulnerability, meaning the lvl 1 punch is very scary
