Beckett, please beware of who you promote. Ross is teaching falsely , “prophesying” on his Instagram. He’s getting caught up with false teachers. He has zeal without knowledge. It’s great that he wants to preach the gospel, but he is really getting into saying he is speaking for God and he is not. Look at what he says that men need to support the Esthers that are rising up. This is such a baloney teaching that goes against the apostle Paul’s words. Study the New Testament on the issue and women are supposed to be discreet, chaste, gentle and quiet spirits, modest, not teaching the men in the church, and they are to actually be like Sara! Sarah respected her husband. The new testament doesn’t tell us to be Esther and Deborah’s and leadership Driven. We have a terrible problem with feminism in the church already. Ignoring Titus, chapter 2:3-5 and other verses of The like. 😢😢😢😢 I already sent messages to Ross that I know he has seen. What a bummer! Leading people into false teaching. Like Bethel church does :( God did not choose women to lead his church! Please pray about this. It’s ruining families. I used to be a Christian woman that tried to rule over her husband and almost lost my family (my own doing!!

I identified as a lesbian for 10 years. My advice is to love your children, know that you do not own them, they belong to God and pray that they open the door when he calls them. It may feel hopeless now and that they’re lost but if you keep showing them God’s love and righteousness they will be unable to accept the counterfeit love the culture offers us.

My young cousin who is my daughter’s age divorced his wife. He now is called Judy. He is a graduate of Harvard. It’s heartbreaking. 💔 No matter what anyone says to my husband or myself, we feel we failed our daughter in someway. Before she walked out of our lives, we sat down with her and our other two daughters to talk to them about their childhood. We asked them to write down ten things we might have failed as parents. She came up with two items. We gave them days to think about what to put on their lists. We went over the lists they had. We asked for forgiveness if we missed the mark in anyway. We told them we love all of them. I just don’t know what else to do. I feel so empty, I would go into their rooms at night and pray over them.😢 Thank you Beckett for your program. My children, too, like to belittle my efforts. I was a full-time mother for them because I didn't want anyone else rearing my children. Their father and I tried our best and did everything we could to help them. In hind sight, maybe too much--but we did it in love. We are human and likely spoiled them, though we certainly didn't try to. Now our dd says she is non-binary--whatever that means. She was always a flirt with the boys, from the time she was 3 years old. She definitely fell in with the wrong crowd at college. That is where this came from. I have to give this to Christ, because I am powerless to save her, and she has to want to be saved. I hope she comes out of this eventually, through him who has the power It is heartbreaking to see my kids floundering when he is there for them, even more than I could every be, if they would just believe.

I am so intrigued by your comment that LGBTQ is the new punk rock. My young niece declares herself bisexual and says 80 percent of her friends are LGBTQ. It's a wave that is consuming our young people. Thank you for your calm, insightful, godly words, Becket. You have been a real lighthouse for my husband and I as we navigate an estrangement with our daughter who is living with a transgender woman and has cut off contact with our entire family. We are heartbroken, but relentless in prayer for her.

From the time my grandson was preschool age he wanted to dress up as a princess etc. he loved Disney movies. Very feminine. He and his mother lived with us for 7 years and after that he was very much apart of our lives. My daughter and I took him to a Psychologist because he wanted to be a girl. We took him to church, he was very active in Younglfe and was baptized. And said he didn’t have a problem anymore. A couple years into college he came to us and said he couldn’t do it anymore. He was gay, my husband and I put our arms around him and asked him to please not leave Jesus out of this. We told him he was the same boy we have loved all his life and that love will never stop. He knows our beliefs. He moved to Chicago and embraced fully the gay lifestyle. He was then angry because he knew how we believed, and looked at us as haters. But he has renewed our relationship recently. We will never stop praying for him, but stand firm in our Biblical beliefs, though we don’t preach to him (he knows how we believe), just love him. Thank you for this podcast. It affirmed that we are okay in loving him and keeping a relationship with him. Again, thank you.

She's decided recently she wants zero contact if I can't call her the name she's chosen (which is my maternal grandfather's name) and use he him pronouns. My daughter…. 29 now… came out a few yrs ago. I do believe it was because of mental and emotional trauma she endured in a relationship with a young man who was a recovering addict. He controlled her and she couldnt see it. He was a Christian and had a loving Christian family . But he used her and she never fully recognized it nor recovered from it. Despite our warnings about him. I’m praying for God to go after her and bring her back to him. I won’t give up. She was devoted to God so strongly…. Now is partying and surrounding herself with LGBTQ. He’s going to bring her back!!!

Thank you, Beckett. Walking this road with our son, and it is not something I ever wanted to do. We are in our third year of it. The first six months, literally, wanting to crawl into a hole and die. Now, leaning on the Lord, and begging and pleading with him to deliver my son and his partner from this lie from the pit of hell. Thankfully, though our son knows that we do not agree, nor affirm, and we had those conversations when he came out to us, still chooses to spend a lot of time with us, and his partner is welcome in our home whenever he is able to be here. But, just like it cost Jesus to love me it costs to love someone while they are doing something you know is harmful to them.

Half of my high school stage crew identify as lesion or they/them. I have 3 or 4 girls that i think don't agree with the new "fad". 2 of our cast members are on transition drugs and one is drag. High school theater is where they all seem to migrate too. I pray everyday before i walk in the doors of the PAC. Currently all my stage crew are female. They are so much more distracted by social pressure to accept than my students were in 2005 when i started. I only know of a few guys that stayed gay over the years. Most of the girls that claimed lesbian in hs are all married to men with families now. I've watched this beast grow and it's not allowing down. I just keep praying for them.

Becket, you went on to say for parents to ask, “how can we come along side you and help you?” The child will most likely say “to embrace and support my lifestyle”. Great advice Becket! There’s power in prayer and the Lord is faithful to all who follow Him. Although I do not have a lgbtq+ child. My only child, a son, is a liberal and no longer a believer. He is 29 living with his long time girlfriend. I pray that he one day, hopefully soon, comes back to the Lord and realizes leftist ideology is evil. God Bless you and keep you strong Becket❤️

My son identifies as gay and non-binary... I pray for him, try to connect and love him the best I know how. I refused to call him a her. At 18 he went to live with his mom. She encourages him to dress like a woman, she admires him and dotes on him when he acts gay. We used to talk, we used to connect. I don't know how to reach him anymore. Can you please pray for me? I am lost and grieving. My heart is poured out to God.

Taking your advice over this last year, concerning my daughter and stepson has been the best thing I’ve ever done as I navigate the challenges of being a parent of LGBTQ identifying people. Being straightforward and honest with them is crucial, but I have also come to understand them better and love them more. We have good relationships, without compromising the word of God. When they are ready to repent, they know who to come to for advice and loving arms around them.

@@Detriax Thank you for the question. In my discussions with my children, I've explained to them that acceptance does not equal or mean agreement. I accept my children the way they are and they accept me and this is the understanding we have between us. They are adults making their own decisions. But I do not agree with their homosexual lifestyle and they don't agree with some aspects of my life either. We're on equal ground there. Same-sex attraction is their struggle, but homosexuality is their sin, according to the Bible, and they accept this as my beliefs. It has no bearing on loving them as people - as my children - for I am simply called to instruct them when they are little and love them as adults, no matter what.

I grew up in a Christian household, in all honesty we were pretty lukewarm. I often felt my dad gave my mom lip service and pretended to be more of a believer when she was around (she worked nights mind you). He called her "mom" and often seemed to be at war with me, almost as if he was jealous that I was actually her biological child. He was pretty nasty, and always emulated my mom in an odd way. I've never had a healthy male role model. I've actually never felt like I had a dad. I try to forgive my dad, but in all honesty he's the reason, not feeling like he was my dad, or that I even had a dad at all, resulted in me rejecting masculinity and men in general. All three of my siblings went down the gay path. I turned from it, and realize now I was never actually into it, it just was on the spot intimacy that never had commitment attached, and always with older men...typical daddy issues. I struggle to forgive, as I feel both of my parents see our past with rose colored glasses. God, I call Him, Abba, my heavenly father has done wonders in guiding me and showing me who I really am, and not how the world made me. Its possible to turn from lgbt, pray God makes you see things through His eyes and He will be faithful. Pray that I can forgive. Amen.

Thank you! My daughter & her wife just visited for 2 weeks with their new baby. They live in another country so hadn't seen the baby yet. Love at first sight. Would have been impossible without years of really accepting that salvation comes from God and what I need to do is continue praying and loving them while knowing that this is not God's will for His creation and I can't condone it. Also remembering Romans 1. I'm fortunate that my daughter and I know that we disagree on this, but still love each other so we can have a relationship. So many of my friends have been discarded by their children for something as simple as refusing to call them by some strange gender or something. Can't tell you how you, Rosaria and Christopher - and others - have helped so many of us walk down this path. And God has been so kind. At one particularly low point an interview Allie Beth Stuckey did with a young man raised by lesbians showed up "randomly" in my feed. A reminder that all of this is in God's hands. I also hold on to the fact that Saul became Paul. Anything is possible with God.

Whether your parents were really just exhausted or wise (most likely both), they modeled for you the consistency of Christ's love. This was a large part of why your heart and mind were still tender and open to the gospel on the day He appointed for you, despite the state you were in that gave no indication of being ready.
