When you are raised from K-12 on post modern relativism , is it any wonder that life is not respected. Some years ago, after a school shooting, the right proposed a bill that would allow schools to hire retired military or police officers that have been appropriately vetted to protect our children, and it was turned down by the left. @@thomastolbert6184 Yes on all counts. One good young man with a legal gun stopped God knows how many people from being killed at the Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana awhile back. He took out an active shooter shortly after he had started firing in the mall food court. There were deaths but it would have been much much worse if that young hero hadn’t been there….legally armed.

When I was in High school we had two or three police officers stationed there that were armed and ready, doors were locked, and you didn’t go in or out of the school without them knowing about it. They were friendly, they were beyond caring about us, and earned almost every kids respect. I don’t understand why we can’t protect all of our schools like that.
