the engine should be washed internally after regeneration with the use of an additive. There are a lot of additives to add to the oil before changing. However, for correct cleaning of the DPF/FAP, a foam additive should first be inserted inside the filter, left to act for 40 minutes and then brought to temperature... Personally, I carry out forced regeneration on the road at a speed of 2500/3000rpm max for 15/20 minutes. I tend to avoid software-forced regeneration...
