I like to think that with how neurotic her character is about working, that she's just cleaned the shop floor and to her, getting even one drop on the floor means she has to obsessively clean the *entire* floor all over again so she opens hers cause everyone else is, but she does it really awkwardly and gentle because she's just thinking about not getting even the tiniest drop on the floor.

Oh the memories. In my first job I was one of a few IT engineers in a Montan (Iron and Coal industrie in germany) company. The Montan industrie is known for people being close to each other (I grew up in that environment) but I am an Introvert Squared. So the company events where always a "how can I run away" situation. I had a creative hot-shop ad agency, with offices right out in the countryside. If we had to work round the clock we did so, but if not, Friday lunchtime we repaired down the pub, ate bar snacks and played pool. It was a gas. The pub was The Corse Lawn Hotel which had a fab (and fabulously expensive) restaurant, but they also had a bar, where the bar snacks were a cut-down version of the restaurant menu and cheap as chips. I miss those Friday afternoons to this day.
