They went all in on EVs, believed the hype and it didn't pay off. They were distracted on EVs and fell behind their competitors, now it's too late to turn the ship around. Governments with their climate hysteria did this.

Unfortunately, governments pushed this agenda and the majority of vehicle manufacturers complied without listening to their customers. The manufacturers have wasted billions and attempting to recover this loss by overcharging on new vehicles - most potential customers have seen through this and are not buying. As others have said, build something as simply as possible (complying with legislation), at a sensible price, and customers will return.

this is the problem when companies think they are "forced" to go green, they wasnt and they couldve said no because of just this reason, go green by all means i have no problem with that but do it over 15-20 years, not 6-10 like all these "leaders" want
