i've done similar stuff to my zr2. way less involved on your bronco. the whole front facia had to come off. i did an aev hitch mount with winch wiring. also a 589 light bar mount which required elongating the mounting holes. i like your channel.

I love JCR's stuff! I have their winch plate for the MOD bumper, amongst other things. They are a local company for me which is another reason I like to support them. The Bronco is looking good! Thanks for the video!

Good video Justin. I have to say, the more I see the broncos, they seem to grow on me. I like the bumper.

Yes for some reason they've been given a very bad rap but I can't wait to get this thing on some trails. It's snowing here now so I'm not sure I want my first trip out to be an ice fest it might have to wait a bit.

Pro tip: The right size cooler can double for the bucket trick...lol. That bumper looks nice and solid. Also, love the Baja Design lights. They are my go to. Got them in my Thuren bumper on the Power Wagon, and top mounted on the LJ bumper.

Installed the same bumper about a month ago and love it. Definitely easier to mount with another person or two, lol.

Nice!! I'm loving this one so far. Haven't legit offroaded yet but I hope to soon. Needed to get this winch on.

Talk to shaun from the story till now he had a bumper like that and he was winching and the faxtory bolts didnt hold up to the winching load . Just check into that would hate to have it fail you during a rescue .

dont forget to replace all the steering and or upgrade all of it if you plan to off-road this at all.
@JustinKingOffroad2 жыл бұрын
so the breakages on the tie rods are mostly from folks that took the bronco and lifted it beyond the stock steering angles maximum limits. the tie rod linkage is almost flat on this one since it's got the factory 2 inch lift for the 35s. i am going to order up spare inners as that is what seems to be breaking, but i'm doubting they'll be needed. i'll go prepared though!

Careful with that adaptive cruise sensor. This is per most manufacturers that if it has any impact to it replace it. They are not cheap at all

I've been going back and forth about a winch plate or a winch capable bumper on my Bronco. And I know you will be having a follow up video with the winch install. But would you say now that you have that bumper installed, the bumper or the JCR winch plate would more negatively affect the approach angle? Thanks enjoy the videos!
@JustinKingOffroad2 жыл бұрын
the JCR bumper works just fine with the OEM skid plate. so you're really not loosing any approach at all with the aftermarket bumper. the winch plate i think puts it up higher than the replacement bumper does though. but all in all i think it's a wash.

Looks amazing! I really like the larger tires, the stock ones make the broncos look so small. Now, a train horn... 🤔 Edit: I think rock sliders would really fit the bumper. Idk, it's your call, but I feel like they would look nice.
@ascentoffroad2 жыл бұрын
Are you going to run tie rod sleeves? Heard the bronco tie rods were pretty small.
@JustinKingOffroad2 жыл бұрын
So most of the failures are from lifting them. Broncos without the Sasquatch package. For now I'm expecting to be fine. I'm waiting for the aftermarket to put out a good replacement product. I might pick up a set of oem ones for now just to have.
