OMG... a fire in the engine. Im going to try to replace my reservoir after I just shelled out $500 on replacing the damn alternator!!! Fingers crossed Im not a total moron I bought my tank on Ebay.

Woked like a charm, I hadn´t niticed the screw on mine when first attepmted to change it. In my case was a 10mm but everything else pretty much the same. Thanks!

Hello sir I appreciate the video! However I have one big question. When I filled to the max I noticed leakeing through what I’m assuming are cracks. I have a 2012 ford focus s. I was wondering if I can remove it like you did I noticed you said yours would leak and saw some but I have way more. I don’t have access to the bottom of the vehicle to properly drain it and not enough money for a shop. Is Putting a pan underneath effective like you say with full fluid? If spilled could this cause further damage?

I did all mine from on top of the car I did not have to do it from the bottom… If you put a clean Container underneath to catch any coolant that spills you can put it back in by maybe filtering it through cloth to catch any dirt that may be falls in there Only work on it When the engine is cold Take your time and you can do it

It shouldn’t make a difference but if you line the two hoses up one will be longer than the other in reaching the fender that one should go to the nipple closest to the fender

Tbh man I changed mine on my 04 Ford focus and as soon I put the antifreeze in and started my car a few minutes later it cracked I was so confused my friend said it needs to be burp cuz there might be a air pocket or something like that but hopefully I get it right today I'll update u if i get mine fixed and let u know how I fixed it💯🙏🏾💪🏽👍🏾
