Exactly the video I needed. I was about to place my order for these steering knuckles with the hub assembly cuz my car is making wheel bearing noises. Saved me some money thank you for making this video in detail. Did you have to get an alignment? I haven’t replaced my knuckle/hub assembly yet. Again thank you

I have not gotten an alignment yet nothing has been changed so I have yet to see an issue but I would suggest getting an alignment in case something is off somewhere

Great video. What year Focus is this? My son has an 05 ZX3 and what I'm finding out from searching that no one sells steering knuckle assembly's for this year. 00-04 and 06-11. Auto hack sells a hub assembly and bearing but I'm assuming you would still need to press out the old bearing which is what I'm trying to avoid.

It is a 2007 and they should be the same my car didn't have abs so it showed good for all those years

Is it easier to replace the whole knuckle then to just replace bearing?

Definitely the knuckle trying to press out old bearing and new bearing is time consuming not to mention I don't have a press at home to do that. It was just easier to change the whole thing. Also a bad bearing can damage or scar and old knuckle which can damage a new bearing after installing it.

Do I need a Strut Spreader tool? Or can I just chisel the gaps so I can squeeze in the strut to the knuckle & the ball joint to the knuckle?

I wouldn't risk damaging the ball joint they are actually really cheap to get one.

Never let a caliper hang by the hose. ALWAYS hang it with a s hook

9 out of 10 people that watch this are not going to buy a hook to hang the calipers. That being said it is not advised but it is possible to let it hang without any damage. People only watch to see how easy this repair is, not how I exactly done something. I'm not perfect nor do I claim to be I show people the cheapest way to get the results they need.

What is the torque spec for the axle nut?

I honestly don't know I hit it with an impact let it go so far it's been good.

Quite well actually I use it for a gas save car just to run miles up on and they are doing really good much better than I had anticipated

Yeah it all separates and is not very difficult to do.
