Ford ignition coil boot stuck in spark plug bore took good hour to remove it heres the TIP

Heck yeah, the hook worked! I tried so many things and pliers just shredded the boot further, but the WD40 followed by the hook got it right out in one piece.

Have you seen the Steelman Pro spark plug socket set? They have teeth that go down on the stuck, torn off boots and break them away. I have the two they make and they have been life savers.

What do you do after it’s torn away? Shop vac the hole?

I got one stubborn one out today it took 2 minutes,you put a 5/8 inch hole saw on an extension chew up the boot .blow it out with a compressor then unscrew the plug as usual!

Nice trick. I was at this for 39 minutes then the hook just worked
