Most of them have cheaper trims, it's just that people think they should get the top tier trim for the price of the fleet spec trim. Like that Colorado he brought up. He was looking at the most loaded up version of a Colorado ZR2 with AEV offroad accesssories all over it, big offroad tires, expensive Multimatic spool valve shocks, etc. The truck that goes for 29,500 has to be ordered because it's a fleet spec model with a rubber/vinyl interior, no big touchscreen, manual winows, no sound deadening materials, steel wheels, no cruise control, etc. People online always say "a lot of people want the stripped down dirt cheap version! they should make that!" Those trucks don't sell when they are on the dealer lot because the average off the street buyer will get in the fleet spec truck and realize maybe they want a few extra things (like cruise control) and the radio is awful and seats are rock hard and uncomfortable. So those fleet spec trucks sit there are rot because while people say they want the stripped down cheap truck, those people don't actually show up and buy those trucks.

It still runs like new. Maintaining the car, even when it comes time to replace the engine (My co-worker has 320,000 miles on his, still running like new) I will be farther ahead than paying STUPID MONEY for a new car with tons of stuff on it I don't want but have to pay for, and that stuff is going to break down or go bad. Like I said yesterday Brandon about the Colorado - base price is $29,500 + destination $1,595 = $31,095. That should be the cheapest you can find on the MSRP. My sister has a new Model 3 performance. If you have a sensitive stomach, you may not want to experience the acceleration. It could make you sick.

I already found a whole bunch on Autotrader for under 30 K that are actually $7000 off MSRP and there’s no other incentives other than that

The problem is that consumers are looking for an OTD price of $29,500.

Ford is the only company that still offers them, but was there a single supercab at that show? Not another ridiculous, bloated four door with a baby size bed? An oversized, sedan pretending, I want to pretend I’m a truck driver grocery getter? Was there even a single two door, actual pickup there?
@marcthomas6280Ай бұрын
They don't make a lot of 2 door extended cabs because they don't sell that well. You and the people that always say this stuff are right there with me and the people who want manual transmissions. They don't sell and we're niche buyers. Time to accept it.

I don't understand the hate for electric vehicles. I don't own one, they're not for me. However, I'm not going to hate on anyone who does want one or owns one. To each their own. Why create a division? If I'm missing something, please let me know.
@saleens330Ай бұрын
It’s not the fact ppl just hate EV’s. It’s the hardcore push on them. Especially when the infrastructure isn’t set up yet. Don’t push something on ppl that they don’t want. Which means we need a market for ICE and EV. Everyone has different wants and opinions. I like them but do I want to buy one? No. At least not anytime soon.
@dmimcgАй бұрын
Yes, you are missing something. NOBODY SAID WE WANT EV CARS. The GUBBERMINT SAID YOU WILL HAVE EV CARS AND LIKE IT! Just like they tried to ram Kamala Harris down our throats. What you don't get is something called FREEDOM of choice. It was what living in America used to be like. Wake up man. THE REASON YOUR AUTO INSURANCE JUST WENT UP IS BECAUSE WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THOSE EV INSURANCE CLAIMS. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?

Do you know what it takes to mine the lithium needed to make the batteries needed for evs? It’s way worse than what it takes to power a traditional fuel powered vehicle. Let’s not get into what those lithium batteries do to the environment when you have to dispose of one of those evs.

11:32 What good would it do to have Toyota make a Bronco? They're putting out unreliable trash these days Brandon. Your mind is stuck in 2000 when Toyota actually made decent powertrains. These days the Tundra is eating main bearings like crazy and Toyota is blaming it on manufacturing debris while quietly making design changes to the bearings that fail. They're selling Tundras and Tacomas with transmissions that fail at 1000 miles or overheat and go into limp mode. They're selling trucks with obvious suspension design issues. What a joke dude

Except for minor problems with aging accessories, Odyssey engine runs smoothly with no major problems. We'll drive it until it dies on its own.
