That 154,000 costs more than my first house in a nice suburb. They are selling us vehicles that can't last more than 150,000 miles because of all the emission and 'green' regulations that hold back quality. No new vehicles for me. I'll dig around for an older used Toyota.

ford may want try this.for the period of your standard warrenty.for every federal mandated recall on your vehicle, you earn a 1000k rebate payable at warrenty expiration.so if you get the usual 30 to 50 recalls.you get a rebate of 30 to 50k from ford.that would eliminate old stock stacked up at dealer lots PDQ.

No it won't. They already build some cars in Mexico with labor that cost pennies on the dollar and they still don't lower the price of the vehicles. They will just eat up the higher profits and still make us pay the same insane price.

Henry Ford made sure the common man could afford his vehicles, now all manufacturers make sure only the wealthy can afford their vehicles. Inflation was the major cause of price increases but I do believe the manufacturers took advantage of the situation. Lot of other things to go into that I don't have time, trade, tariffs etc.

4x the price that it’s actually worth, absolutely terrible quality that will leave you in the shop within the first year, yea. Anyone with half a brain is running the opposite way from these vehicles

Used car values and new prices plus all the bs the dealerships add on that is literally just words on paper to get more money. Let's not forget when you register a vehicle, you have to pay taxes for tires that you haven't bought or replaced yet every dang year when the tires on that new vehicle was already paid for by the manufacturer. It's all scams.
