Ford Maverick - My first flat tire and the "full size spare"

Excited to see what AT tires you will get! Can you fill me in on what you are thinking? Trying to decide what to get for my maverick. leaning towards the FALKIN AT3W because its something that comes from the factory on the tremor. I Appreciate your videos! Thanks you!

I'm a function over form type of guy, however I also want my truck to look "cool" so it's been a bit of a back and forth. I don't want to add a lift as I've heard lots of CV issues popping up lately. I originally thought I'd just go as big as possible stock with 245/70/R17 Toyo AT III or Falkens, but I also use my truck to commute so didn't want to sacrifice as much MPG. In the end I've decided on Firestone Destination AT 2 tires in 235/70/R17 - 30" tires. Very lightweight and they will leave more room in the wheel well than 245/70 sizes for winter snow buildup etc. Pretty highly rated tire with an semi-aggressive look and good highway manners/not too loud. Have yet to see a photo of a maverick with those tires in that size so when I get them late in the summer I'll make a video.

Only the XL comes with a full size spare tire and rim. XLT and lariat do not come with a full size spare.

Adding the "full size" spare for the XLT was an add-on option. However as mentioned it's not truly a full size spare.

@@MaverickTruckMods oh my bad I was not aware there was an option for the xlt models. I’m happy with my xL though :p
