i did the kit with bigger sump and i run a scan gauge2 aswell befor running around the pilbara 95 to 105 now towing our 18 foot offroad van max 76. so yer happy.

Great video! Do these new Rangers have the similar oil pump set up, as the early 2016 5 cylinder engines? Where, if you drain the oil for too long, while servicing, you run the risk of engine damage on start up. As they run the oil pump dry or something like that

yes they do . But the pump were revised. but people are still worried.

This would be the best upgrade for rangers with auto box bar none, after doing this same job only I only change fluid once a year rather than dropping out burnt oil ever 2nd service from my heavy work truck doing 70k a year.

Great video. How often do you recommend changing the transmission with normal driving? The manual says 150,000km🤯 that seam alot. I have the 2021 3.2L XLT 4x4. What brand full synthetic oil do you recommend for engine oil change? In the manual it's a 0w30 I would rather use an oil that is the best for the engine than fuel savings.

only use what is recommend, we use Castrol

No, manual trans doesnt require cooling and there is no way to connect it. The cooler is an auto box thing.

Yes they do lol. Get either a scan gauge or an ultra gauge ( ultra gauge is far superior ) it will come factory with the PIDs programmed into it for the transmission pan temp.

Does adding a cooler affect the factory warranty?

I’m no warranty expert but I’d say removing the thermostat and the new cooler he’s installed would almost certainly void his new car warranty. If something goes wrong with the engine or gearbox now that he’s made changes to the gearbox, he’s probably screwed.

@@matthewb9824 thats not how Australian Consumer Law works. You can change or modify anything you want to your vehicle, if something goes wrong and Ford wants to blame your addition THEY have to prove it was actually at fault and provide evidence of it. If it is the cause of the fault then only that portion of your warranty is void in that single circumstance.
