Hell Yea!!! I just bought a 1999 6cyl extended cab 4wd Ranger. I may be going the leaf spring route. Thank you for posting your build. i found two DANA 30 (front and rear) for $500 but I might have located a rusted out jeep for 2 or 3 hundred. Still recovering from getting hit on my Harley 8 months ago and having my right leg crushed and getting extensive blood clots. I survived so its on to the build.

Glad to hear your alright, and you got your truck! $500 for those two axles seems to high to me, I can get a front Dana 30 for $50-100 around me. The rear axle on your truck is probably an 8.8 since it’s 4x4, the 8.8 is a stout axle, I wouldn’t swap it out unless you go to tires bigger than 37s. It all depends on what tire size you want to run too, Dana 30s aren’t much good past 35s. For reference I got my Dana 44 with the springs. Steering and radius arms for $200

Sweet build, looking forward to the next update. After I get my motor and trans rebuild done I'm thinking about doing solid axle swaps in the front and rear, not totally sure yet.

Thanks 😀, the rear is fairly easy, but depending on what model ranger you have, the front can be a bit challenging
