Been behind the wheel of fords v8s since 1978,like you guys we have a 22 BL sq 2.7 great lil engines 31km. No problems, 2022 250 kr tremor 7.3 10spd. (First year for all 3)The 4:30 axle is perfect for this motor 37km no issues .bought new 2012 raptor again 6.2 4:10s and 35s from the dealer great truck. Good V8 news for Sure!

V8 will become niche engines. Will they produce them? Yes. However, I think they will become an option only on certain trim levels of flagship models like the mustang and F150. They are already doing it to a degree. I also believe the premium charged for the V8 upgrade will become greater and greater until sales dwindle to a point where Ford feels they are justified only offering a V8 in specialty trim packages. Wording used in statements is obligatory and vague at best.

That’s why I love fords. They are keeping the V8 and you need it in a mussel car like the mustang. Chevy drop the ball when they went to a fully EV in the charger 👍
