Hey guys! remember to also check out this other video I made kzbin.info/www/bejne/hISUYYerbMiMfrs as Ford recently made a change to the Filter part number from FL-2062 to FL-2087. Hopefully that video will help you see the differences between each and you can decide which is the best one (or correct one!) for you..

This is the best video I have seen so far on the GT 350 oil hanger. All the other videos have poor lighting or bad angles or they leave out some info that we need to know. Especially if you're doing it for the first time.Great job !!!

Oil catch can is highly recommended on this high revving cars
@GrabberBlue5.26 жыл бұрын
good stuff my man. i notice you dont have a passenger side oil catch can, definitely get one from JLT or Ford Performance. it literally takes 15 seconds to put it on. keep up the good content and enjoy the car.

Much appreciated bud, good eye too, adding catch can to the list of priority items!

Great tutorial. Thanks. Really cleaver idea with the foil. I have yet to do the first oil change on mine, any tips on where to buy the oil and filter?

Thanks! Amazon or RockAuto seem to have the best prices on them

Man I’d torque it down to spec each time and mark a new torque mark, especially with plastic....considering large steel bolts stretch.
@AlexAutoFun5 жыл бұрын
Hi Saturday7x, So far I haven't seen my alignment mark move but I'm totally with you, I think the sure fire way to ensure complete torquing is with a torque wrench. Thanks for watching bud!

The FL2062 is the WRONG filter. The correct filter is a FL2087. Please follow the manufacturer recommendations.

Hi Kellie! and welcome to channel! My car calls out for FL2062 on the owners manual. However I have covered the recent change Ford did to the filter on this other video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hISUYYerbMiMfrs Hope that explains it a little better, thanks for watching!

Did you jack up the car, or put it up on ramps? Or maybe a lift? Thanks.
@AlexAutoFun4 жыл бұрын
Hi Craig, I done it with jack stands and also with a lift (quick jack). I do prefer the lift, much faster that setting up jacks but it way more costly that a nice set of stands and a low profile car jack. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Opening that panel is a wasted step. It's not needed to remove the canister/filter cartridge, or if you torque to spec which is more accurate.
