Thanks for posting. Had a similar problem, C1525. Was able to complete procedure with battery charger, and jump box hooked up. Used Snap On Solus, Brand new(2023) LAUNCH scanner would not work for this.

I have Ford Escape 2007, brake hose was leaking, I replaced a hose and abs sensor then bleeded a brakes. And c1524 and c1525 codes show up and it stopped make a pressure in brake system. I tried to do like in your video but nothing was changed. If you located on the west coast can I come to your shop to fix it because in my town nobody know how to fix it and I found only your video about this problem. Thank you

Hi I’m having the same issue with an 07. My solus scanner gets stuck half way through trying to run the service bleed procedure. I also don’t have a brake pedal. Is there any way to fix this myself without going to a dealer? Thanks in advance

Hi Thanks for the video. Do you have the diagnosis procedure for the C100A code (Brake Pedal Angle Sensor Signal) ? I think it's a similar problem than the C1524 code

Bought a ford escape 2008 the owner replaced 2 front lines...and im sure they didn't bleed system correctly, can i do a pneumatic bleed in this system if i remove battery and fuses as i seen online ? Brake is all the way to the floor

I haven't worked on a lot of these but honestly if you can't actuate the ABS pump you may not get all the air out of it

There's a reason why they want you to relearn the pedal feel position because this is a simulated pedal feel in the hybrids and running actuator test

@@midnightsrt1021 now I have done what you're talkin about by bleeding as much as I can manually and then going outside in a wet parking lot and I kept slamming on the brakes to get the air pockets out and then just rebleeding them and I got lucky before by doing that but it would be so much better if you had a computer to actuate the ABS pump on other vehicles of course never tried it on a hybrid which it should still work

Excuse the question, but when you start doing the self-test, what do you mean by pressing THE TICK before pressing the pedal for 5 seconds?

Yes you're going to need professional help to get rid of these codes and make sure everything's cleared out and working appropriately

It's called IDS - its special Ford licensing and software and you have to pay about 900 to get started and an yearly licensing fee

You need a factory computer or one equivalent

@@FordBossMe i had to replace a break line (front drivers side) stopped by a deer all of a sudden. The stop was so sudden it stalled the vehicle. After replacing the break line and bleeding the system the lights are still on. The breaks are almost non existent. Can I reset those codes with a tester or am I going to have to take it to a specialist?

We took my sons 06 to a shop and a code wouldn’t come up. The abs keeps coming on and off and when it comes on he’s gotta push brakes all the way down. How can we get this fixed if no code comes up

More than likely you're going to need a factory scan tool, have you checked for codes?

**HELP** i went to test drive this 2006 Ford Escape hybrid every ran smoothly until I had put it in park , I had it in park for like 3 mins n then it shut off out of no where. Idk if this is normal for a hybrid to shut off while it’s parked but can anyone help me figure this out???

I need you to explain what shut off So I understand the concern here but you didn't do a very good job explaining exactly what shut off So you drive the vehicle you get home you put the vehicle in park after a few minutes of sitting there idling with the engine still running all of a sudden the engine shuts off but all of the gauges and everything on the Dasher still on but the engine is off that is normal because the voltage has stabilized and there's no reason for the motor to be running anymore until you go put your foot back on the gas again and then the motor starts back up or if the battery drops low the motor will start up to recharge the battery
