Great honest review. You’re the first person I’ve heard say this is not made for the lower swing speed player. I currently have a Tsr 2 which I don’t hit very well. I’m a senior and my swing has really deteriorated.
@foregolfcustom2 ай бұрын
Thanks for that. Yes that’s what I’ve found during fittings. Slower speed golfers should look at Cobra, TaylorMade or Callaway in the Max heads. 👍🏻

Currently have TSR2 in the bag but was recently fitted into GT3. 3 mph more ball speed, lower spin, tighter dispersion. 6 meters more carry, 11 meters overall. Good but pricey.
@foregolfcustom2 ай бұрын
Agreed, slight gains over TS range but dispersion tighter on the off centre hit. Pricey is right….🤷🏻

Titleist guy. Got GT3 in Sept and love it. Plus 10 yards out of the middle, but 25 yds better on low heely shots.

Yep that’s what we’ve seen too. Thanks for sharing 👌🏻

I had no intention of trading in my TSR2. I switched to the GT2 back in Sept. I picked up 11 total yards, 4 mph club head speed increase and increased ball speed, if I remember correctly increased by 9 mph. I had 3 drives in one round of 301, 315, and 330 on my 6th round using it. I had very few 300 yard drives with the TSR2. The hosel adjustability is fantastic. I have switched the settings a few times to get it right. The beauty of golf tech

Good stuff, that makes sense as you already have good high ball speed so it will manage spin better and give you that extra yardage from better launch and spin management. 👍🏻

What hosel setting would you recommend for high toe hitter ?Thank you.
@foregolfcustom12 күн бұрын
Hey Robert, which head, loft and shaft (make, weight and flex) have you got?
Probably C1 for toe strikes but also depends on ball flight and general miss based on that face strike. You might want to look at shaft length also to help with that.
@robertlozano654611 күн бұрын
@@foregolfcustom Shaft length would be a good place to start. One half or 1 inch ? Thank you.
@foregolfcustom11 күн бұрын
Go for a half inch shorter to see how it goes but be careful of dropping the swing weight too much…

Have the TSR3 in my bag, but I was fitted for the gt3. I didn’t see any real performance gains, but did see an increase in club speed. I think the gt3 feels and sounds better although that is very subjective.

There's a lot of GT3 drivers for sale on the used market just now. I think Titleist have made a Stealth Plus mistake with this head. Their 3 line was always a tad lower than the traditional D2 line, so throwing that weight towards the face was a massive risk for club golfers. The GT2 is one of the most stunning drivers I've seen, but over the ball, is doesn't look any different to a TSR2. I had my eye on this release, but I don't know, after seeing so many for sale so quickly after the release, I pumped the brakes a bit.

As I said it’s not a driver for the “normal” club golfer. A bit like L Plates on a formula 1 car. Be careful and test a few different brands.

Eeek. I had a GT3. Traded in for a Ping 10k. Ping sooo much easier to hit. I would like to hit the Titleist tho, such a great looking and sounding driver.

I am 72yrs and play Ping G425max with Tour2 S at 100mph. Tested the GT3 9 with 60g stiff shaft and I hit it well. It beat the Qi10LS and killed my own G43010K and my G430max. My G425max is longer, straighter and more consistant than all these latest models. Now waiting to try a Ping G440LST and then replace the old noisy girl.

Hi Derek, Great Video! I have been struggling with my GT3 since I completed my fitting. I was put in a 11* GT3 with a Tensei 1k Black 6x 1/2" shorter. I did not get on with the 1/2" length, so I went back to the standard which seems to help. I can't seem to get the adapter setting correct (currently A2), and thinking about going to a 10* GT2. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Swing Speed 107 Ball Speed 160 AoA -1* Play a fade (High Center/Toe strike)

Hey, thanks for that. Without some TrackMan data it’s hard to advise just on speeds. Also no feedback on why you didn’t like the GT3 setup and what you want from your hosel/face angle. Need more info to help? Send me an email with TrackMan data and some video through our website if you think I can help? Thanks Derek

Went from TSR2 9* to GT2 10*. Better launch, dispersion, and slightly higher ball speed. Driver switch was definitely worth it. GT fairways did not impress. Definitely not worth switching from TSR in my opinion and testing.
