I watched this program in 1953. I was 14 years old. In 1963 I was on my way to Buenos Aires as a US Foreign Service employee assigned to the US embassy.

My career took a different path, however I watched Foreign Intrigue regularly on a 10 or 12 inch Capehart-Farnsworth television set. The show ran from 1951 thru 1956. As a youngster, I loved the show and it influenced my interest European geography and in foreign automobiles.

Great comment... I remember the old sayings from our youth in the 60's, '"Life is stranger than fiction" Dad would always say after reading some crazy story in the Newspapers. We miss Dad and Mum and real Newspapers with the Sunday color funnies. Many blessings Moviecraft for posting these memory jogging delights.

The third syndicated season of "FOERIGN INTRIGUE" (1953-'54, 39 episodes) was later syndicated as "OVERSEAS ADVENTURE". This episode was originally syndicated in October 1953.

14:15 Why would a Parisian hospital use "Operating Room" above a door ? Quite odd, as the shots in the streets show French cars and ads on the walls (Perrier Pschhht)

That brunette foriener with the full figure was most intriguing. 😃

incredible you got ahold of this series episode. This is extremely early tv. BRAVO ! P.S. standards of female beauty was way different. the lady informant was not what i would term a pretty young thing. yikes

She looks like Lisbeth Salander.

@CamiciNera-17m from certain angles. lisbeth is not as homely or it seems. I can remember women like this from my early childhood that were mannish 1950ish but never would consider it beautiful or cool.
