bisscute, I have watched this reaction at least 10 times. It's an awful thing for an 82 yr. old man to fall in love with a young, 20-something woman, but I can't help it...I'm smitten with you ! I think you are a lovely, wholesome, fresh and innocent girl with a great personality and who's just a nice person....lucky is the man who gets you for a wife.

Foreigner is a great British-American rock band who started in 1976. They had a lot of great hits such as "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold As Ice", “Hot Blooded”, "Juke Box Hero", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", "Double Vision", "Blue Morning, Blue Day", "Dirty White Boy", "Head Games", "Break It Up", "That Was Yesterday", "Say You Will", "I Don't Want To Live Without You" etc.

I discovered the music of the 80s, or at least I was aware of its power, in the summer of 1991. I remember that in the 1993-94 academic year I was not going through one of the best moments of my life, I was 16 years old and there was a radio station that broadcast music from the 80s 24 hours a day; in class i would wear my walkman with headphones that i hid inside my sweater, and i would listen to songs like this. I repeated that course but music, thank God, saved me internally.

Siouxsie and the Banshees! Punk pioneers from the late 70's, constantly evolving until their breakup in the late 90's. So many artists cite them as an influence. Hong Kong Garden from the start of their career, Kiss them For Me is a good dance tune from the 90's, or Dear Prudence (best Beatles cover ever!.

I could not begin to guess which or how many movies this song might have appeared in, but I think it even was used in a few (North American) TV commercials. A popular ketchup brand over here was dipping (no pun intended) into the old 80s hits for a series of their ads. Foreigner, Heart, and a couple others I think?

This was a favorite song in the strip clubs of San Diego during my time in the Navy. If you were in the club for more than two hours, you would hear it at least three or four times. Every time I hear it I'm reminded of a sweet young redhead named Satin Spice that took me to her apartment and introduced me to her two cats and Pomeranian named Butch. Thanks for the trip back to 1985, Biss. I hadn't thought about her in years!

Foreigner is hardly underrated. They have sold over 80 million LP’s throughout their careers in an era before streaming/downloading. They had incredible commercial success through the 70’s and 80’s into the 90’s. This song went to number one for 3 weeks in the summer of 1984 and was one of 14 songs to have charted in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the band in just the US.
