This guys opinion of Guyana sounds fair and absolutely unbiased...apart from the racial tensions around elections time, Guyanese tend to not hold grudges for long, name calling is part of our culture, so I understand the prisoner was just hittin’ him with that “Jim Jones” for fun, hence why he probably called him over to continue the “gyaffe”. Guyanese know there are more important things to do than to worry about name calling, can’t say how many times I hear white visitors say, “damn that would fly in my country” 😂 But Yeah: Crime Pollution Corruption And we still manage to have a positive attitude and be hospitable to guests, give or take a stab here and there🤔. I feel a bit of Guyana rubbed off on this guy otherwise how else he downplayed that so easily. #ForGuyana 💪🏼💯❤️🇬🇾

Nice to hear your report of Guyana and your experiences. Just wanted to make a correction. The white woman you referred to as President is NOT the president of Guyana! You must be referring to the U. S. Ambassador to Guyana, Sarah Lynch. The only white woman president Guyana has ever had was Janet Jagan (1997-99). She was the wife of Guyana's first Prime Minister, Cheddi Jagan. Yes, Guyana is special! It's good outweigh's the bad. The people overall are awesome as well as the culture.
