@@Dragonfire1911 doesn't matter. A hunter could've been shooting at something in the woods and missed and he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I.e. he'd not being mistaken for a deer, he's just had the misfortune of getting hit by a stray shot that came from the woods (and due to the lack of trees and such was able to hit him). With no one even realizing they'd potentially even shot someone.

Years ago, my cousin and his wife moved out of state for a new job. Unbeknownst to us, they had their young adult dog put down by a vet prior to moving. I think they were moving to an apartment that didn't allow dogs, so apparently, he was now just an inconvenience that they had to get rid of. My mom was heartbroken as she really liked this dog and she would have taken him into our family, if only she had know he was going to be killed. Some people have limited moral compasses. Just my opinion.

I have respect for detectives as a general rule, I give fake respect to all officers but do not generally respect all or evem most. I have had too many bad experiences with cops to trust and respect them, but I also do not wanna be under the jail, so I pretend to respect them. Detectives have dedicated themselves to finding people and putting them behind bars. Officers frequently have little training and an itchy trigger finger.

Street cops and detectives are two completely different kinds. During the day the more experienced and older officers are out and around and I never had any problems with them thru the years. The younger ones who want to be cowboys and make names for themselves are on evening and night shifts and those who you watch out for. I haven't gone out at night in 10 years now and don;t have to encounter any of them.
