A rare example of a great American tv series, there's no sensational bs, the presenter talks calmly, the viewer doesnt get a seizure from flashing pictures and there's no regurgitating of material from 5 minutes ago, love it!

@@devondwayne5981 not even the adrenaline (in most cases). A first time offender is fearful of getting caught. Once they realize they got away with it they begin to relax and begin to feel comfortable committing similar crimes because it's familiar. I dont understand how they investigate all the local LE and look further into those that were off duty each robbery and fit either body type. Did he say 1991? I bet they were inspired by the original Point Break. "I couldn't tell you who wore it, I could tell you just that the jacket robbed the bank." Haha

Since banks are a prime target, they have an obligation to have excellent CCTV otherwise they are complacent.

If you only getting 70 or 100 grand to split amongst a team this wouldn’t be worth it for the risk. I always thought bank robbers made off with millions.

They don't tell people the right amount. Otherwise it would be the wild west. Most bank robbers work alone or in pairs, and only get 1 draw, a not the vault. Met a guy who robbed check cashing place, on avg 70k per

Look up the 1980 Narco bank robbery, the most violent bank robbery and chase in US history, 4-5 robbers only stole $20k cash...

this was in the 90s and 100 grand was huge money at that time.

I don’t understand the mentality of some people and I don’t want to even try to understand it. In this episode , these Bellamy brothers decided to be on the wrong side of the law rather than being good law abiding citizens. Shame on them for robbing banks; one being a Lieutenant, the other one was a police officer…..very sad and tragic that they decided to become criminals. What happened to “protect and served?” Shame on them, they were an absolute disgrace to law enforcement. I am glad they were caught and are in prison where they belong. Incredible how people change, just incredible.

40,000 bucks divided by the number of gang members. Even x2...Probably not even minimum wage for a year.

That's what I was thinking, LOL. That wasn't very much money they ended up with when it was all said and done. Maybe it was for the thrill of doing it.
