FORESTELLA is a (classical) vocal group and is definitely one of the world best . Their genre is CROSSOVER und they mix rock/pop/opera in a unique way, sometimes more, sometimes less. One goal of FORESTELLA is to show that classical music in the form of classical singing and techniques and POP/Pock can go very well together. EACH member is an outstanding talent in their own right and together they are unbeatable. This constellation of unusual voices, vocal range and incredible technical skills is unique. They are very versatile and it's all live. I highly recommend their version of “MAMA” (EXO original) and their version of “Lazenca Save Us” (EPIC Korean rock an here you also have the electric guitars). Both incredible achievements, that sounds so damn amazing!!!

They were part of a singing competition called The Phantom Singer (2018) that takes solo artists and through elimination creates quartets... And these guys were magic in a bottle. They just keep winning everything they touch. Please check out more of their videos.

Thank you for your wonderful reaction! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their new original song Utopia is a must check. Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too. Forestella released their new single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans.

Forestella has two Classically trained singers (Ko WooRim the Basso Profundo, and Cho Mingyu, Tenor). Then there's the Theatre trained Bae Doo-Hoon. Last is Kang Hyung-Ho, who was a Research Chemist who sang part time in a ROCK band. He has a huge vocal range. I found lots of singers on Chinese show, "Singer" (Dimash was on it in 2017), Jessie J won it in 2018, beating my favourite Performer Hua Chenyu (think Freddie Mercury crossed with David Bowie and... Elton John😂).

From left to right on the screen, they are basso profundo singer Ko Woorim ( classically trained) then countertenor Hyung-ho Kang ( a biochemical engineer with a rock group before joining the group) then classically trained leggero tenor Cho Mingyu ( the leader of Forestella) and finally Bae Dohoon, a low tenor with a tenor/baritone range (who has spent several years doing musical theater) Together, they are MAGIC! Forestella sind einfach der Hammer. They may have Dimash vibes but they have much better pronunciation in all the languages they sing in. Kang Hyungho, second from left, has an incredible range and beautiful soprano voice. Please keep reacting for a better idea of how phenomenal they are! They each also have solo performances that are incredible.

Forestella is league of their own crossover group who can sin ant genres and so talented! Since you like Dimash, I suggest you should also check out SoHyang who is also Korean and she is referred to as the female version of Dimash, happy listening!

😂 Gotcha again!! Their harmonies are beautiful! Not a boy band but a crossover group. Korea has been pumping out a lot of groups. I enjoy watching the Asian Dramas. Compared to American dramas, Asia has us beat, hands down. That is how I found Forestella. There are a couple more groups from Korea that are not Kpop and are on tour here in the U.S. Korean Soul is a Christian Praise and Worship group of 4 also. I'm so glad you liked them. The first song I heard was Sound of Silence. You need to see. That video too! Being 71, I enjoy good music. Thank you for playing this group.😊

Thanks for reacting. Nope, not a boy band, a cross-over group, very versatile. They are not inspired by Dimash. Each one gets a chance to shine, if you listen to their other songs and originals.

These guys can sing. The low voice and one of the tenors are professional opera singers, so not really "boyband material". They have not bene trained to dance and all that stuff idols do. The baritenor is a musical actor, and the countertenor is a rock singer.
