Im 71. Heard this a time ago. I never thought of myself as getting older. Then one day you look in the mirror and wonder who that is. Then you survive cancer and then lookin perfect doesn't take up much of your time. Bosses in their 40s and 50s driven to get that next thing. Then tonight I happened to find this and am glad I stopped by. With the anger in this world just getting more widespread it's nice to let some air out of the balloon.

I said my mom's eulogy this past Wednesday. I had them play this arrangement when I was through. I told the people in attendance, I will always remember my mom's incredible spirit, zest for life and in my mind, forever young. She died peacefully at age 102 and a few months. Been a week, still tough, miss ya mom, but I am glad I had you all these years and the world is happy too. May God's Blessing keep you always.

This song for me always conjured up for me images of Karen going off to college, and Wart leaving for the Army. Yeah, I grew up watching "The Wonder Years." Now, it means something different. I now am in my 40's, and my older son is in high school. I cannot believe it, but my baby is going to graduate in only two more years!! He got his first job this semester, and one Saturday morning, as I was driving him to work, I was playing this song. As I looked over at him, I was overwhelmed with emotion. It seems like yesterday I could balance him in the palm of my hand, and now he is on the verge of becoming a grown man. Where, oh where, does the time go?

Sorrido e dondoliamo insieme. Luca, mio Bobby Jean, noi saremo sempre Forever Young.

At our last day of school, 40 years ago, our beloved teacher, Mrs de Bruin, played this song for us. She also gave us the words. I believe it was spoken into our lives. We're all still alive, and doing well. What a legendary song!!! Now I'm passing it on to my children..... my favorite song.

such a beautiful song....reminds me of good days when the world seemed less cynical....as a 60s gal...would like to dedicate this song to my lovely daughter jenny who is now a mother herself...and to my wonderful granddaughter iris,,,,three years old..the words say it all......

This is a great rendition… but there is a coarse and tired sentimentality that only belongs to the male voice. This version sounds like a benediction, Dylan’s version sounds like dirge.

I have found this song to say many things that I could not. I will always think of certain people in my life who certainly seemed to know the secret of staying young and living in the moment,Thank the Lord for what we have in this life.
