That is really cool how you stretched the steel of the tang from about a inch to the length you needed it. That is a true art.

That is awesome thst you do everything by hand. You don't use one of those hydraulic press things. Doing everything by hand seems to be more natural. The way our fore fathers did it.

Have you ever made anything from the steel from a anvil? If so, was it hard to make the shape you wanted with your hammers?

Everytime I try to sharpen a knife it ends up duller than when I started. Is there a fool proof sharpener anywhere on the market?

Not sure tbh, it would depend on what was used to make the anvil, tool steel perhaps?
