The damascus viking sword you made in another video, while a beautifully made sword, just didn't look like a traditional viking sword to me. This sword is SPOT ON. Beautiful paterning in the blade, and the simple styling of the cross guard comes out very clean. Excellent job. One thing I've noticed about your work is your handle construction. VERY nice work! I also appreciate how you don't talk over your videos or add music (at least the ones I've seen). While some commentary can be nice and educational, sometimes it's nice to just watch somebody work and hear the sounds of the hammer pounding metal and the machines grinding. Keep it up!

I rarely try to post neg comments but DUDE!! You made that scabbard the long way around and more difficult than it should have been. But it seems that is your way so more power to you. Still a great build!

Lol, My first try at making a sheath like that was just wrong! Instead of gluing a edge to the wood and working my way around. I covered the lether with glue, got glue all over everything, and had to make my second one. It came out right. Only I started on the wrong side so its left handed instead of right. It seems I have to exhaust all the wrong ways first. Lol

Wish i had seen this earlier. Very nice. Q: why felt the inside all the way down? I was under the impression that the felting or fabricing of the inside was only the first 4-5 inches. Q: why glue the leather rather than stitching along the back...other than personal preference? Not being critical just curious. Q: the twine you use under the leather...any special kind? or just ordinary twine you might get at a hardware story or sewing shop? Thanks for sharing, impressive work.

Love your work! A few questions. What is your stance on inlays on the blade and have you ever thought about doing one? How much would you charge for a custom bowie? What is your favorite style of sword? Sorry for all the questions, just curious. P.S. still would love to see a Roman Gladius.

What kind of leather do you use? Do you dye it yourself or do you buy blanks? And what is the adhesive you're using?

Beautiful! Love the knotted accents. On a different note: Do you sell the bracelets like the one you are wearing as well? I noticed that it has your touch mark on it, so I'm guessing that you might make these.
