I call this the Airport runway Mansion where the noise can still be heard in the basement. Great Mansion with its 66 rooms kinda reminds me of the French cheateu mansion. Such character this place has i guess it served its purpose

Make sure to change the 9v battery in the smoke detectors before you leave. The spirits hate that noise. All of those casement windows are worth a fortune. The room at 11:15 was the Dining Room. You can see where the wall sconces were removed. At 14:50 you were in the Butlers pantry. It was directly across the entry from the dining room.

Disheartening that some people have so much money they can just walk away from homes this that especially when there are so many families in need. The home appears to have been renovated at some point. So much inside that could be donated. It's a very beautiful home now, I can only imagine what it was like when owners were living there. OMG.... this home is absolutely gorgeous. It's a shame that it will be demolished. What a Beauty!! Built with such class, taste, they don't make them like this anymore. I wish I had the money to buy it and fix it. It looks so historic. Mold is a monster once it's in a building. A lot of Walls would have to be stripped back down to the bare studs and be treated. It would take a lot of work, but it could be repaired. Again Too bad I don't have the $$,$$$,$$$, cause I would rescue it from death. What a waste, so sad 😢😢😢

A solid house for 20 millions, mostly given how it's from the 60s, a decade which has dealt this planet some of the most unspeakably evil designs. The painted coffered ceiling is magnificent, I hope the sunken panels are going to be salvaged, as well. It is truly a shame to demolish this building. For what? A hideous McMansion which will lose half of its value a decade later? 12:00 It seems to be a sun parlor, a room designed to bathe in light, to enjoy sunny day while sitting on a wicker armchair, or something. It is of precious taste, the wrong note being its assymmetrical structure. It is a no-no. This was supposed to have a polygonal plan or be a rotunda.

Ahh excuse Me, that's what they did with the Barbara Mandrel and Her Husband's Tennessee Mansion, developers came in and gutted the entire House just to make it into a Wedding Venue, turned Bedrooms into Hotel rooms , destroyed all of the woodwork,, now Today it sits abandoned yet again, You might want to try again

Families don't live in these homes. It's pretty much for business meetings and parties. These places are dumped because they don't care about them. Or the owners ended up bankrupted or died. Looks like it was updated within 10-15 years ago? That was a newer double oven. Definitely not from the 60's. Would be nice if you guys could give history on these places.
