Trust me guy's, there are hotrodders and car lovers here in New Zealand who would give their right testicle to find these cars, and restore them to either show room condition or daily runners like you do. So well done for breathing new life into these classic cars. Love your channel and look forward to the next video.

I really enjoy all of your videos, they are great to watch. I love the way you use methods that me myself are using. Nothing fancy, just straight down to business with basic tools like wire brushes and some chemicals to make wonders. Not like the overly complicated other tv-shows that is soda blasting and making stuff that no ordinary person could do in their garages. Not to mention the crazy budgets all those "super-restorers" have. This is downright genuine and so charming and fun to watch. Everytime you put on an new video it is like christmas eve for me! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Sweden!

The first car I owned when I moved to the US in the late 1970s was a 1964 Ford Falcon. It looked like hell but it was a great car. It would always start no matter how cold the weather. I even used avgas in it during the oil crisis in 1979 without any problem. One drawback though, was that the steering wheel would get burning hot from the sun during the summer and freezing cold in winter.

Back in 1979 I bought a 1969 Ford Falcon Futura 6 Cylinder 3 on the Tree with under dash A/C with 28,000 original miles. The car was a trade in from a Senior Lady who worked in our local natural gas office. Was a robin's egg blue as my mom called it I drove it 3 or 4 years and sold it my 64 year old self looks back on my 20 something self and just shake my head for getting rid of it. It had the original spare with the green on the whitewall and was totally immaculate. Her sister had a I think it was a 65 Dodge Dart that she still had when she passed away I tried to find out how to buy it but hit dead ends it was just as clean as that Falcon and had a small V8 with push button trans with factory A/C.

I had a 200 in my 78 Mercury Zephyr, and I was going to swap in a 5.0 that I had for it. I blew the head gasket on it by driving the car over 100mph too often, and ran out of money and patience with the car (I was also between jobs at the time too). It would have been interesting to see what I could have done with that engine if I kept the car, but I can get to experience that now through this video... It's like you put a big block 6-cylinder in the car, and I would imagine the car would be pretty quick with it... Another great, no-nonsense video as always guys!
