My uncle bought a 64" Falcon ,brand new. Light blue, 6 cyl. 3 on the tree. Drove it the rest of his life till he died of cancer 50 years later when he left it to his daughter. It still looked brand new. Last I heard she still has it and trying to keep it as well as he did.

I use to shine my 1976 Monte Carlo after work on 2nd shift in the back yard. It was one of the big nose cars with a 350 engine! I would take my time and shine one section at a time. When it rained water would bead up the size of a quarter on the wax. I had myself a cooler of budweiser on ice though in those days! Good memories!

That paint turned out great, love the color. It's called Holly Green, if you're interested in repainting it the original shade. Reminds me of my dad's '72 buick electra, it was a similar shade of green.

Not to shabby??? It's freaking gorgeous. Even the thin paint on the edges, even the scratches that have been waxed, the faded bits. It's patina and appropriate for its age and history. It's got a new engine and if the interior scrubs up that Falcon will be pure joy to drive.

NOBODY is doing this "extra mile" TLC on YT. In some ways, it seems like you guys have created a new kind of restoration concept that hopefully will catch on as it encourages many of your viewers. Putting vehicles back on the road like this is American Ingenuity with a hell of a lot of elbow grease. Another Awesome Video.

First time I'm watching the channel. Love the old Falcon as it reminds me of the 1965 Mercury Comet 202 my mom used to have. I would not be surprised if the doors and some other components were interchangeable among the two. I vaguely recall our Comet had a 200 something inch 6 cylinder engine with 3 on the tree.

It would be interesting to see the history of this falcon as the color is the same as used by the US ARMY garrison vehicles of the day. The front door respray was how the cars went to auction. Under the top layer of paint could be the old Army decals in white lettering. I do love the level 1 restoration on this car.

Hey, great job on this detail! I didn't think you'd be able to coax that much of a shine out of it. I would suggest using 0000 steel wool to remove some of that surface rust on the chrome bumpers and rebuffing it. You might be surprised.

You must be congratulated on a stunning, dedicated renovation: a '63 Falcon Squire wagon - in the same green depicted here - was my father's first Ford. So glad I stumbled upon this channel a little while back! Y’all do such an amazing job with everything. One suggestion: when detailing, before each time I reapply more compound to the pad, I like to take the air compressor and blow out all the built up gunk that’s accumulated in the pad before I apply more compound to it. It helps cuts down on the chance of having any swirls in the finish. Keep up the good work!
