Pretty sure that's not an instrument, but rather a time period car horn. They have that shape. Also hence the name Martin *Signal*. Actually that company produced the sirens on german firetrucks as well I believe. That's why the ambulance/ firetruck horn is still called "Martinshorn" to this day.

Apparently our last name was botched when the two brothers came through Ellis Island. Brückner is supposed to be the origin of our last name Brigner. Keep up the awesome work!
